"Next case!"

It was almost nine in the morning and I was still at court. Since dad was ill, Sir Nicholas, his first of the nine gems took the seat as the judge.

The court room was large and I sat in my usual position. Right beside mom on our reserved seats.

Bruce's seat was vacant as usual. He never liked attending court sessions.

It was a choice and I decided attending court sessions was a reasonable way to spend my time.

Of course I had shopping to do and hang outs to attend but watching this was educational, and also funny; when someone isn't being sentenced to death.

The king -my father- had nine gems. Like a jury, they would help with decisions. Sometimes they could even pass out judgement on their own. That's if they find the king's choice unfair or so.

The nine gems are;

Roon Oslen. He's tall-ish and always frowns he and Marx are both experts when it comes to war.

Towle. He's the minister. Mostly quiet.

Garry is the wise one. Unlike my father, he always looks before he leaps.

Keech. Of all the nine gems he's the fun one. He and Felder get along just fine cause Felder is the funny one.

Olsen. He's the hotty. Most women love him, and try not to drool when he's talking. I was once crazy about his hotness but I'm over it.

Hammel. He's the nice one. Way too nice to be judging cases.

And lastly, Nicholas. Nick... as they call him, is also wise, like Garry. But my dad seems to trust him more than the others. If only he's smartness could rub off on dad.

He's neat. I suppose.

*Pleeeease* the text on my phone read.

*I said I'm in court.* I replied my annoying but wonderful boyfriend.

*Can't you skip? I really need to see you.*

*I thought you were going to meet the guys.*

*Yes. But I need you. Bruce wants to work out and the rest of the guys aren't really say productive stuff.*

*Fine, I'll come.*

"Mom, I need to go." I turned to my engrossed mother.

"Sure."

"I don't know why he just cant stop talking about it."

Leo and I were in my room, on the long couch. I wore a blue hoodie and he wore a black shirt. I sat on his lap, his hands around my hips.

"Then he started talking about Abby's boobs. It was so bad. I wanted to jump out of the car. Then he asked weird stuff about the both of us making out."

"What'd he say?" He smiled, his hands slowly tracing up my hoodie.

"He said he sees you mouthing my boobs."

"Well don't I?"

"That's not the point. He shouldn't know that. How does he know that?"

"Lucky guess?" He stared sheepishly at my face. " But it's really fascinating how Bruce is so playful with you yet so harsh to everyone else."
