I have the right to say the prince forced me on this movie date. He's becoming more unpredictable by the hour. With him it's always one unsettled tide. Evening comes much slower than I expect and it's not because I am excited to watch a movie with him. All my days go this slow.. He told me to get to the parking lot by five in the evening. He said he would give Lara an excuse on why I could not finish all the work I had. But I finished all my work so I guess his excuse would be for why I will not be around.

The perfect outfit for the occasion would be something casual. I pull my pink t-shirt over my head and tug my blue jeans trousers on. I only have one pair of sneakers so I wear that for a change, brushing my– now back length– hair down to the sides of my face.

Already predicting a boring drive to the movies, I borrow a book from the castle library. It would be nice to kill two birds with one stone.

Strolling to the parking lot takes longer than expected. Have I been taking long step? I guess I can never tell. The sun is out today and it seems angry. The dinzels will love it, but I am not a dinzel so I do not need to pretend to be enjoying the weather.

The prince is not in the parking lot. Or at least I can't see him anywhere. I scan the car filled parking lot again. He could be in one of his cars, but I will definitely not go around peeping through the glass of every single one of his cars.

My hands sit on my hips as I think of what to do.

"You could have at least stood in the shade." He says from behind me. I turn around to see him in a black shirt and trousers. I bet that is the shirt I wore the other night. His hair looks curlier than usual and it seems he is in a good mood today.

"You came late." I inform him, in an attempt to sound upset. I failed miserably. He starts walking down to one of his cars.

"I did not come late. It's four fifty–nine." He waves his phone in my face in an attempt to show me the time, I do not see it cause he moves it too fast. "You came too early. I guess you are that eager." He smirks, proud of himself for reasons I choose not to understand.

He selects a white Honda and unlocks the door remotely. He opens the door for me to get in before he does. When he wears his seatbelt, I am reminded to do the same. I know I should not get so jumpy around him, but I can not hide my restlessness.

The car roars to live and he starts to drive. "What movie are we watching?" I rub my hands on my knees.

His eyes shift to mine before he looks back and speaks. "Has anyone ever told you you talk a lot?" Ouch. I guess I should shut up if I don't want anymore insults from him.

"I like the trousers by the way." He keeps his eyes on the road, I can see a smirk creeping into his face.

After thanking him, I take my novel and quietly begin to read. I do not know how long the drive will be so I better keep myself busy. He does not put any music on, thank goodness.

The novel I have with me today is a bit erotic. I had picked it because of the cover. It is a black and white themed book. There are two hands one obviously masculine and the other one feminine, they held hands with a clean crack in the middle. There is no trace of a highlighter in the book so I guess Bruce never read it. Soon enough, I get lost in the world of Jimena and Andres.

"Is that what you do all day?" Bruce's voice draws me out of my world of fantasy. I look up. We are forty five minutes into the drive now. "Burying your nose in boring books." I feel like ignoring him and not saying anything because he shut me up the other time.

"No," I say shifting my gaze to the words on my book. "I work all day. And my book is not boring." I make it clear, folding the brown paper nervously.

He laughs. I can not tell if he is laughing at me or he is amused by me.. not sure that makes sense. Somehow, I know it is the first one. "If you say so." He keeps smiling.
