"Did he call?"

"No, I told him not to." My voice is soft and a bit shaky.

Leonard hasn't called or texted in two days. I must admit, I miss him, but I won't call him either. I am convinced we need this.

My gloomy attitude made Bella a bit pissed and she said I'd have to go with her to see Sophie.

I didn't put up much of a fight, I shrugged and decided to go with her.

Bella drove her Cadillac Escalade while I sat in the passengers seat. I wore my hair up and did a little make up. Bella has gone all out, she said at Target -Sophie's workplace - there would be a grand party celebrating one of the club's achievement.

With that information down, Bella wore a very loud gold dress, you could hear the dress screaming from miles away. Her make up is full on and her purple hair is rolled and adorned. The loud gold dress she has on is just above knee length, it has a small slit and goes perfectly with her silver pencil heels. The way she is dressed, someone would think she was the owner of the club.

Let's not talk about me. I'm just simply dressed in a straight multicoloured dress. My heels are much shorter than Bella's but I really don't mind being short for just a day, seeing as I'm inches taller than her on bare foot.

The driveway was packed with cars of different species, all lined up like grains of sand on the sea shore.

I don't have any jewelry on me and my purse is as simple as it gets. I look pretty ordinary, like a girl going for a stroll... with heels. I was actually convinced that Bella was overdressed, but boy did I have it all wrong.

We walk into the club and my eyes immediately begins to hurt. The dance floor is packed and the disco ball keeps reflecting ever single sparkly dress into my eyes. I'm blinded by all the glow and I start to regret coming.

What I need is to stop the madness and call Leo, maybe if I do, he'd come over and we would cuddle the night away. Yes. Yes, that's what I'll do.

I grab my phone from my purse but it's suddenly swiped away from me. I'm about to curse at the person until I see it's Bella.

"I'd like to believe you weren't about to call Leo." She raises her carved brow at me.

"No.." I smile, "I was gonna text him."

"Mm, and what happened to we need this space huh?"

"Bella, I'm not strong, I really miss him." I pout and clasp my hands together in a praying motion.

The lights are shining across my face and I think I'm gonna be sick already.

"You started this, now you have to finish it. Push through. Tell you what, make it through this night and enjoy yourself, you can call him in the morning."

I pause, weighing my options here. "I guess that's fair?"

"Yay!" She jumps and claps with my phone still in her hand. I'm afraid my phone could fall but I'm more concerned about her tall heels.

She pulls me along, after locking my phone in her purse. We went to the bar table to get something to drink.

"I feel so under-dressed." I sigh as we sit on our high stools.

Bella smiles at me. "You're not that bad. Infact, I envy your simplicity."

I roll my eyes. "I know you're just saying that. Let's get to our drinks." I rest my hands on the table and sit straight.

"What will you two be having?" The busy bartender turns to Bella and I. "Oh Bella!" He suddenly exclaims. "Didn't see you there. You look so different." His voice is softer but still over the music. "Make up looks good on you. I'll call Sophie, she's been expecting you."
