A few months passed since the SkyWing went rogue, however they seemed to come to a conclusion as to why they did. It was the animus magic. they had said, and most tribes agreed. There had been more cases of Animus dragons acting more strange, or deranged. And now I was faced with an issue, Queen Ibex wanted to banish me far out into the ocean, so that way I could never return. As I stood in her throne room with guards surrounding me, Queen Ibex walked out from the room and sat on her throne. I bowed my head to her. "Shiver," She spoke, "Due to a recent finding of how dangerous Animuses are, you are now a threat not only to us, the Ice kingdom, but also to other tribes." I shook my head, "Your majesty, I can assure you that I am no threat to you, the IceWings, or any other tribes. I don't feel any different, and I have yet to cause trouble. If you would give me a chance, I can promise not to use any more magic." Queen Ibex shook her head, "I'm sorry Shiver, we can't take that chance." I put my head down in shame, "No, I understand." she looked at me sadly, "You were a good member of the tribe, and have helped a lot, I hate to do this." She pointed at the guards but before she could give her order I interrupted, "Before I go, I would like to gift you something." She tilted her head in a curious way, "What is it?" "I would have to retrieve it from my home, but I would like to give it to you." She thought for a moment, "Alright fine. Mint, Pine, you follow him and make sure he doesn't try to flee." The two IceWings nodded and pushed me towards the exit. We flew down to my house and I walked inside, I picked up a mirror I owned and enchanted it. The two IceWings looked at me confused when I told them I was ready to go back. We all flew back together and went back inside the palace. I handed the Mirror to Queen Ibex, "This mirror is enchanted to show any important events if you say to it, 'Show me what's happening with...' and finish with what you want to see." She looked at me skeptically but tried it. "Show me what's happening with the... BeetleWings." The mirror shifted and changed to a scene with the BeetleWing Queen, Citrus, arguing with the RainWing Queen, Lavender. "You can't take that half of the rainforest, my subjects live there!" Queen Lavender said frustrated. "Why not? We have more dragons than your tribe combined." Queen Citrus said. "Because we already live there! You already have this portion of the rainforest, isn't that enough?" Lavender pointed at a map laying on a table. "Maybe if we can both calm down we can talk about a compromise? I'm sure we could share territories." Queen Citrus hissed angrily... "Fine RainWing, make your proposal." Queen Lavender turned around to pick up the map on the table and in that split second Queen Citrus bared her fangs and shot venom at her.
Queen Lavender roared with pain as Citrus began to attack her. Queen Ibex gasped as the mirror revealed Citrus spreading her wings and flying towards the RainWing Village. "She's going after the RainWings." Ibex said worriedly, "We have to warn them!" "I can warn them if you give me something to enchant." Ibex thought for a moment, "Fine. Go get whatever you need." I nodded my head, "Go gather your army." I said to her as I bounded off into the hall of the palace. I went into the treasury and grabbed a ring and enchanted it to where the dragon wearing the ring can teleport whomever to wherever they tell it to go. I ran back out to Queen Ibex and asked, "Are you ready?" She nodded in response and I handed her the ring. "In order to teleport us all to the rainforest, you'll have to wear the ring and say 'teleport myself and my army to the RainWing village.' That should get it to work." Ibex put the ring on and repeated what I told her. In a flash we went from standing in the cold quiet icy palace, to a hot loud green rainforest. There were dragons roaring in anger and pain, as I looked around I saw a few LeafWings and BeetleWings attacking the RainWings. Queen Ibex started shouting some orders and her army broke off to join the fight. I tried helping in the battle by taking wounded RainWings to a safer space, or gathering up the dragonets that were running around panicked. It took a while for the fighting to stop, but the IceWings and RainWings combined outnumbered the BeetleWings and LeafWings. Queen Ibex went over to a green and purple BeetleWing and asked, "Where is Queen Citrus?" The green and purple BeetleWing stammered for a moment, "I can bring you to her..." Ibex nodded, "Yes, do that." Right when the BeetleWing was about to take Ibex, Queen Citrus landed down in front of them. "There will be no need for you to bring her to me, Glowworm, I'm right here." Queen Ibex hissed angrily, "Queen Citrus, we will need to have a council discussion for your punishment, of murdering Queen Lavender and trying to invade her village." Queen Citrus looked at her curiously, "How did you know I did all of this?" "That's none of your business." Ibex retorted. "Now, we shall gather a council to decide your fate." Queen Ibex turned around and looked at me. "I don't have anything to write, and besides ordering a council together will take a while, in the meantime I can do this!" I walked over to a tree and started whispering to myself in order to enchant it. Right before everyone's eyes the tree started splitting off into trendles, making a prison around Citrus. "There. And she can't escape either, I made it so only I can open it." Citrus growled angrily and lashed her tail. "Do what you want IceWing. I will get out of this situation!" Queen Ibex posted some guards outside the prison and walked over to me, "C'mon, let's go gather the other Queens." We spread our wings and took to the sky heading north towards the Mud and Sky kingdom. After a while of flying and gathering the queens, we all met in the previous cave before. The queens were talking amongst themselves. Eventually they came up with a plan, and it was to send them off in a random direction, out in the ocean. There was an agreement though that if they found any kind of land, not already claimed by one of the other seven tribes, they were allowed to claim it as their own, and were to stay there forever, and never return to Pyrrhia.
The two tribes gathered at the peninsula in the Sea kingdom and set flight into the vast ocean. I stood next to Queen Nightshade and one of her advisors. "How far do you think they'll make it?" I asked. Queen Nightshade thought for a moment, "They think they won't make it very far, some think they won't make it at all. However, Fatefinder says otherwise." She looked down at the small black NightWing standing next to her. "I have a vision of some of the tribes not making it, but however, I see them resting on some kind of island? I'm not exactly sure, the visions are not very clear, I'm sorry." Queen Nightshade nodded in agreement to what she said, "While I can't see the future myself, Fatefinder is very good at it, so I trust what she says." Fatefinder smiled, "Thank you Nightshade, I try my best." I looked at Queen Nightshade and asked, "So what they're saying is that there is other land out there... even if it's just tiny islands?" Both Nightshade and Fatefinder nodded. "At least that's what my vision appears to say." Fatefinder spoke up, "I can't tell if it's an island or another continent, but all I know is that there is land." I thought for a moment on what they said, no dragons before this dared to explore past the peninsula, not even the SeaWings, who live underwater. "I want to travel with them." I finally said. Queen Nightshade blinked in surprise, "What?" I nodded my head, "Well... I was supposed to be sent out on orders of Queen Ibex anyways, since I'm an animus. She didn't want to keep me here, or execute me, so she felt that sending me off like we are doing to these two tribes was the better option." Queen Nightshade thought for a moment, "Well, that's not my decision, however if you want to go back to the Ice kingdom and ask Ibex, go ahead. I'll ask Fatefinder to see if she can't find any visions of you arriving there safely." I thanked them both and spread my wings and started flying towards the Ice kingdom. Once I arrived I immediately requested to see the Queen, which was granted. I walked into her throne room where she sat. "Shiver, what brings you to my palace?" She asked. "Well, I was wondering if I could travel with the BeetleWings and LeafWings as my banishment punishment." Ibex thought for a moment, "I suppose... did you talk to Queen Nightshade, she was supposed to be down there watching the two tribes to make sure none had plans of coming back." I nodded, "Yes, I did, and I also talked to one of her advisors, Fatefinder, and she says that there is some kind of land out there, and that some of the tribe will make it to that land." Ibex hummed with curiosity, "Well then, I suppose I can let you go. I'll allow you to pack whatever you need or want, and give whatever you can't take to the lower class IceWings." Ibex waved her hand, "You may get ready for your journey." I turned to leave the palace and go back to my home to gather some things. At my house I grabbed a pouch and filled it with some snacks and water, along with a scroll and a jar of ink, and then left to go catch up with the departing BeetleWings and LeafWings.
