Vegas rushed to the hospital, to see his mate lying in bed looking lifeless. The doctor had called him and said that he might not make it the night. 

"Pete" Vegas enter the room quietly, Pete open his eye to see Vegas's eye full of tear. "Don't cry dear, we know this day will come sooner or later " Pete reach his hand to stroke Vegas but failed, his body have no energy. 

"Pete" Vegas held his hand, squeezing it tightly and sobbing silently. 

"Do you remember last summer when we went to Bagan?" Pete asked. "Yeah, you want to go but then it was too hot for you to walk so I end up carrying you" Vegas replied. 

"It was so much fun." Pete laughed. 

"I want to visit Inle again and live on water like the people there do" Pete added, "It was a nice place, Venice like that place a lots " Vegas said. 

"Yea" 

"Vegas?" 

"Yeah?" 

"When I di-" 

"Please don't say that" Vegas look up at Pete, eye begging not to leave him. "listen to me first" 

"When I die, I want you to cremated my ashes into diamonds and I want you to give it to Venice as an necklace so he can wear it and a ring for you " Pete explained. 

"You really though this through huh don't ya" Vegas let out a laugh, Pete just smiles and look at him. Vegas stay with his mate until he took his last breath. 

As Pete wishes, after his dead, Vegas cremated Pete's ash and turn them into a necklace and a ring. 

Vegas tried his best to raise Venice and Venice turn out to be an brilliant young man with an successful business.
