As their friendship grew stronger, Andrew and Clark became the talk of their PMLS 1 class. They were inseparable, always laughing and joking together. But as much as Andrew enjoyed Clark's company, he couldn't help but feel annoyed by his constant pranks.

One day, Clark snuck up behind Andrew and tickled him mercilessly, causing him to squirm and laugh uncontrollably. "Stop it, Clark! I can't take it anymore!" Andrew gasped.

Clark just grinned mischievously. "What, can't handle a little friendly teasing?"

Andrew rolled his eyes, feeling both irritated and amused. Despite his annoyance, he couldn't deny that Clark's antics made him feel alive.

But as the weeks went on, Clark's pranks became more and more daring. He'd steal Andrew's pencil during class, or sneak up behind him and whisper something ridiculous in his ear. Andrew tried to play it cool, but deep down, he was getting fed up.

One day, after yet another prank from Clark, Andrew decided he'd had enough. He turned to his friend, his voice shaking with anger. "Seriously, Clark, can't you ever take anything seriously? You're like a kid sometimes!"

Clark looked hurt by the accusation. "What do you mean? I'm just having fun!"

Andrew shook his head. "But it's always at someone else's expense. You never stop to think how your pranks might make other people feel."

Clark looked thoughtful for a moment. "I guess you're right, Andrew. I never thought about it like that."

Andrew smiled, feeling relieved. "It's okay, man. Just tone it down a bit, okay?"

From that day on, Clark made an effort to rein in his mischievous streak. He still liked to joke around, but he made sure it was always in good fun. And Andrew, in turn, learned to appreciate Clark's sense of humor without letting it get to him.

-The Ship Begins

As their friendship deepened, Andrew and Clark began to notice that their classmates had started shipping them. It started off as innocent teasing, with a few giggles and winks whenever they were spotted together. But as time went on, the comments became more suggestive.

One day, after class, a group of their classmates approached them, grinning from ear to ear. "So, are you guys, like, together now?" one of them asked.

Andrew felt his cheeks flush with embarrassment. "What? No, we're just friends!"

Clark just shrugged, looking unfazed. "Hey, if it makes them happy to think we're dating, who are we to stop them?"

Andrew shot Clark a look, but he couldn't help but feel a small spark of hope. Maybe, just maybe, there was something more between them.

Over the next few weeks, the teasing only grew more intense. Their classmates would make suggestive comments whenever they saw Andrew and Clark together, or whisper loudly about them when they thought they weren't listening.

At first, Andrew tried to ignore it, but eventually, he found himself wondering if there really was something there. He couldn't deny that he was attracted to Clark, but he didn't know if it was worth risking their friendship over.

One day, as they were walking home from class, Clark turned to Andrew, a serious expression on his face. "Hey, Andrew, can I ask you something?"

Andrew felt his heart skip a beat. "Uh, sure, what is it?"

Clark took a deep breath. "I know we've been joking around about it, but...do you ever think about us, you know, being more than friends?"

Andrew felt a surge of emotion run through him. He had been hoping Clark would bring this up, but he still wasn't sure how to respond. "I...yeah, I have thought about it," he admitted. "But I don't want to ruin our friendship."

Clark nodded slowly. "I understand. I don't want to lose you as a friend either."

Andrew took a deep breath, gathering his courage. "Well, maybe we can take things slow and see where it goes. I don't want to rush into anything."

Clark's face lit up with a smile. "I think that's a great idea. Let's see where this takes us."

From that day on, Andrew and Clark began to develop a deeper understanding of each other. They started spending more time together, going out as friends and enjoying each other's company. Sometimes they held hands or gave each other a friendly hug, but it was all just part of their close friendship.

It wasn't always easy, as they still had to deal with the teasing and gossip from their classmates who assumed they were dating. However, they were happy just being friends who understood each other. Andrew often thought back to the pranks and jokes that had brought them together, and he appreciated Clark's sense of humor all the more. Although they may not have ended up in a romantic relationship, Andrew knew that they would always have a special connection as friends who understood each other deeply.
