Chapter 8: An Awkward and Romantic Night

As they entered Clark's apartment, Andrew couldn't help but feel a bit nervous. He had never slept over at a friend's place before, let alone with someone he had romantic feelings for.

Clark seemed to pick up on Andrew's nervousness and offered him a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, man. We'll just study and get some sleep. No big deal."

But Andrew couldn't help but feel a flutter in his chest as they settled down to study. He tried to focus on his notes, but his mind kept wandering to Clark.

As the night wore on, they both grew tired and decided to call it a night. They climbed into Clark's bed, with Andrew on one side and Clark on the other.

At first, everything was fine. They both settled down to sleep, with their backs turned to each other.

But then Andrew felt a gentle tap on his shoulder. He turned over to see Clark looking at him, his eyes shining in the moonlight.

"Hey, Andrew," Clark whispered. "I'm sorry to wake you, but I just wanted to say thank you for being there for me today. It really meant a lot."

Andrew felt his heart swell with emotion. "Of course, man. You know I'll always be here for you."

And then, in a moment of boldness, Andrew leaned in and placed a soft kiss on Clark's cheek.

Clark's eyes widened in surprise, but then a smile slowly spread across his face. "That was sweet," he murmured.

Encouraged, Andrew leaned in again and this time, his lips met Clark's in a soft, tentative kiss.

It was electric, and both of them felt the sparks fly between them. They kissed for a few moments, exploring each other's lips, before breaking apart.

"I'm sorry," Andrew said, feeling embarrassed. "I don't know what came over me."

But Clark just grinned and pulled Andrew closer to him. "Don't be sorry. That was amazing."

And with that, they both settled back down to sleep, feeling closer and more connected than ever before.

As they drifted off to sleep, Andrew knew that this was just the beginning of something amazing. He was excited to explore his feelings for Clark and see where their relationship would go.

But for now, he was content to lay there in the warmth and safety of Clark's embrace, feeling truly happy and alive for the first time in a long while.
