Andrew couldn't shake off the feeling of jealousy as he watched the girl from the engineering department try to flirt with Clark. He knew that Clark was completely oblivious to the girl's advances, but he couldn't help but feel a twinge of envy every time she would touch Clark's arm or lean in closer to him.
Despite his feelings, Andrew tried his best to focus to study. However, his attention kept drifting towards the two of them, and he found it difficult to concentrate.
As their free time ended, Andrew watched as the girl told Clark she was going back to her classroom. Clark seemed friendly but not interested, which made Andrew feel a little better.
Andrew was about to leave the classroom to use the restroom when the girl suddenly bumped into him, causing his cellphone to fall to the ground.
"Watch where you're going," the girl snapped, not bothering to help Andrew pick up his phone.
Andrew apologized and quickly grabbed his phone, feeling embarrassed and annoyed. As he stood up, he noticed Clark watching him with concern.
"Are you okay?" Clark asked, placing a reassuring hand on Andrew's shoulder.
Andrew nodded, trying to push aside his frustration. "Yeah, I'm fine."
As he walked out of the classroom to use the restroom Andrew couldn't help but feel like he was losing Clark's attention to the girl from the engineering department. He didn't want to admit it, but he was jealous and he didn't know how to deal with it.
The next day, Andrew arrived at school early, determined to focus on his studies and ignore the girl from the engineering department. However, as he walked towards his classroom, he noticed that the girl was waiting for him outside.
"What do you want?" Andrew asked, trying to keep his tone neutral.
The girl smirked. "Just wanted to talk to you, since you seem to be so interested in Clark."
Andrew felt a surge of anger. "I don't know what you're talking about. Clark's my friend, that's it."
The girl rolled her eyes. "Please, I saw the way you were looking at him yesterday. It's obvious that you like him."
Andrew felt his face turn red. He had never admitted his feelings to anyone, and the thought of someone else knowing was humiliating.
"Look, I don't know what you want from me," he said, trying to maintain his composure. "But I'm not interested in you, and I'm not going to let you come between me and my friend."
The girl looked surprised but quickly regained her composure. "Fine, have it your way. But just remember, Clark is a catch. And if you're not going to make a move, then someone else will."
Andrew watched as the girl walked away, feeling a mix of anger and confusion. He knew that he had to confront his feelings for Clark, but he didn't know how to do it without risking their friendship. As he entered the classroom, he couldn't help but feel like everything had suddenly become more complicated.
