Time skip 2 weeks
Charlotte's Pov
Things had been going great with Leah, we have been on a few causal dates and have been spending more time with one another. The more time we spend, the closer we seem to become and I can feel myself falling deeper and deeper in love with her each day.
We have just finished training and were walking to the cars. Leah was going to her mum's house this evening as her brother Jacob, had a football game. Although I was invited along, I thought it was best to give it a miss considering I hadn't met Leah's family yet. And if I was being completely honest, I was nervous because I know how much family means to her. Instead, I decided I was going to head home and have a pamper night with a long radox bath and face masks. We had agreed to meet up with one another tomorrow to spend the full day together, starting with going for breakfast.
As we made our way to our cars, I turned to Leah to give her a kiss goodbye. "Have fun tonight, make sure you text me when you're back home so I know you're safe." I chuckled as I said this, knowing full well she would be fine. "I wish you were coming, I want you to meet my family" she responded. "And I will soon, I promise. We can arrange something properly soon" I assured her. As she gave me another kiss goodbye, I eventually climbed into my car ready to head on home.
A few hours had passed since I last saw or spoke to Leah, but I decided not to text her as she was with her family. Instead, I ran myself a radox bubble bath and relaxed listening to my Spotify playlist. After I had freshened up, I made my way to bed ready to binge watch my favourite Netflix show. As I checked the time, I realised it was 11pm and thought to myself Leah would have been home by now. Because I had still not heard from her, I decided I was going to send her a text just to check in.

As the current episode I was watching came to an end, I decided to try and get some sleep. Although I wanted to make sure Leah was home safe, I figured she might have still been with her family and so I decided not to stress.
I woke up the following morning and instantly checked my phone. Leah was usually awake before and so she would usually send me a cute good morning message. However, upon checking my phone, there were a couple of notifications from my social media, but no text message. As I clicked on the text message conversation with Leah, I noticed that my previous message from last night was unread. That's weird I thought to myself, nether the less, I decided to be the one to send the good morning message for once.

Morning Le, I hope you slept well. Are you still wanting to meet for breakfast? I was thinking of meeting at 11am if that is okay with you? Xx
I placed my phone on the bed and decided to go and get ready for the day.
It was now 10.30am and I still had not heard anything from Leah. As the panic started to set in I attempted to call her multiple times to no avail. Was she okay? Was she mad at me? Did something happen on the way home? Each possible outcome rushing through my thoughts. Not being able to take the silence any more I decided to do the only possible option I could think of, and make my way to her apartment to speak to her in person.
