Comfort.

IM SORRY THIS WILL BE A SHORT FILLER CHAPTER AS I COME UP WITH MORE STORY IDEAS, I JUST NEEDED TO SEE THEM ALL THREE TOGEHTER OR I WAS GONNA BREAK DOWN.
IM SORRY THE CHAPTER IS SO SHORT TOO, I TRIED TO MAKE IT LONGER BUT IT WAS KINDA HARD, I HOPE IT WILL MAKE UP FOR THE AMOUNT OF TIME I HAVENT BEEN WORKING ON THIS!

Shadow POV:

It had been a while since Sonic fell asleep on me, he was hurt, and it was obvious. i brought him back to base towards his office, laying him comfortably on the bed. He kept pulling me towards him so i stayed beside him. I wouldn't dare move as he really deserved some rest, he seemed to be having a bad dream too, as he kept whimpering, and i had to keep wiping tears out of his eyes.

I was laying against the headboard, as he layed right on me. I was carefully stroking his quills and back, hoping to calm him down, which seemed to work as he was much calmer and peaceful than earlier. 

Looking closer at him while i had the chance, his crazy cobalt quills weren't all that crazy after all, if he wasen't in motion all the time. They were pretty slick compared to what i thought, i could run my glows through without it feeling like sandpaper. He was pretty slim even though he was quite the runner. 

i noticed tiny scratches on his skin underneath all his muzzle fur, as well as two more noticable ones on his chest. I found myself carefully petting the hedgehog with loving care, as he carefully nuzzled me and purred. Our nice peace was interuppted by a careful door creak.

"Is he feeling better?" A worried Echidna came into the room, closing the door behind him, approaching us. "Yes, he's seemed to calm down, but he wont magically get over this through a nap, he's defintely gonna need comfort when he wakes up too." I would proceed to rub his ear as it flicked. I noticed the echidna had a jealous blush, so i inched over slighly, leaving space for him. 

"Come next to me, i'll shimmy him over too you." The echidna noticed that i had an idea of their relationship, as he looked around, avoiding eye contact embarassingly. 

The echidna sat beside me, shoudler to shoulder as i carefully dragged the heavy sleeping hedgehog onto him. Sonic instantly grasped around 'Knux' as he nuzzeled the crescent on his chest. I noticed both of them blushing as i couldn't help but let out a laugh.

"You guys really are close huh?" I looked over at the two cuddling next to me. "Mhm, we both found out we had been liking each other for quite a while, and.. it just happend." Knuckles tilted his head lovingly at his 'Lover', almost like he had hearts in his eyes, as he carefully caressed the hedgehog.

"I see, well you fit perfect togheter." I smiled though my mask at Knuckles.

It was starting to get late as i looked at Sonic's alarm.

"I'll be on my way to bed now, if you need anything i'll be here." Knuckles nodded at me as i tried to make my way out of the bed, as i was closest to the wall. until i felt a tug on my glove. Looking down i noticed Sonic was awake, his eyes still half-lidded indicating he was still tired.

"Stay, please." Sonic looked at both me and Knuckles with pleading eyes, as i got myself comfortable again. Sonic got up slightly as he pulled me and knuckles down from the headboard, getting right inbetween us, sucessfully laying us down next to him. "You can't sleep like that."

Sonic slowly lifted my mask off. "You can't sleep in that either." I mean i trust the echidna after knowing his relationship with Sonic, but i didn't think i'd take my mask off so soon, well, Seargants orders. I noticed a slight blush on the echidna, but i guess thats the normal reaction as they're the only mobians who have ever seen my face.

He moved himself comfortably between us, facing knuckles with his back against me. I saw Knuckles wrap his hand around Sonic's waist, as i moved to get comfotable on my back. Once again, another tug on my hand. 

Sonic had pulled me towards him, with my arm over him, i will admit i blushed at the random cuddling, but he needed comfort, so i just went with it.

I found myself carefully nuzzling into Sonic's neck as he purred, as well as touching arms with the echidna across from me, i will admit, i didn't know cuddling would give such a nice feeling.

And so, my eyes fell shut as i layed with the Hedghog and Echidna, i will admit, i was comfortable and probably a blushing mess, not so sure about doing this again though.
