Sonic gasped for air as his stomach twisted, looking down, a metallic arm had pushed its way through his guts.
"SONIC!!"
Sonic winced in pain at the metal arm that had penetrated his stomach.
"W-what..?"
Sonic's body went numb from adrenaline, as the arm retracted and he feel to the ground, clutching the gaping hole through his torso.
"SONIC!" Knuckles shouted as he ran towards Sonic.
"K-Knux.."
"No please, you'll be okay, Sonic!"
A few blurs surrounded Sonic, as the pain slowly came back.
"Sonic...." Rusty spoke.
"No...this can't..."
"A-Amy..?"
"I didn't want to...do this.." Rusty spoke, her red pupil seemingly turned off, and a few oil-mixed tears shed from her still intact eye.
Rusty seemed to back away, staring at her bloodied arm, her eyes flailing for something to focus on.
Sonic found himself in Knuckles'es arms as Shadow tried to stop as much bleeding as possible.
"Sonic- Please, stay with us! we'll get help!" Shadow removed his cracked mask as he pulled both of them into a hug.
"I'm not sure...i can recover- from this.." Sonic spoke, his voice sounding like it was drowning, as he'd cough up blood.
Sonic's eyes fell heavy, as he lost focus.
His last words were pleas and "I love you"'s...as he slowly faded away.
in the arms of his loved ones.
