Wow the first official headcanon chapter of this book!! Specimen 11 gets to be first, as my apology for calling him a dilf in the previous chapter lmaoooo. Also cause he's my favorite specimen so of course he gets to be first.
Oh yeah and I made a human-like design for him for this AU cause I dunno I felt like it. I'll be doing the same for SOME of the specimens, but not all of them. Anyway let's get into this already cause I've got a lot to get through here

Code name: Specimen 11

Real name: Rusty Grekhpull

Age: Unclear (looks to be in his late 20s.)

Pronouns: He/him

Sexuality: Bisexual

Type: Active

Total fatalities: 317

Method: Unknown

Cat-Dos entry: A floating figure that was found inside a secret area below a large abandoned corporate office once owned by a restaurant franchise. The specimen is extremely violent and also seems to leave the house at will despite various containment methods. Victims vanish on contact with the specimen, but sometimes remains of the victims have been found inside the testing chamber days later. Proved not effective as victims' souls do not remain after contact.

Headcanons:

~Unlike most of the other specimens, Rusty has never been human, despite looking especially human-like. He's always been a spiritual entity. More specifically, he's a demon.

~He was summoned by the distressed owner of a fast food franchise, begging him to help save the business as it was nearing bankruptcy. His desperation had driven him to reach to such an extreme measure: summoning a literal demon. Nevertheless, the (metaphorical) contract was signed, the deal being that Rusty would revive his business in any way he could in exchange for being able to "feed" off of it as well. The owner, assuming that he just wanted a bite to eat every now and again, agreed in a heartbeat.

~Almost immediately after the deal was made, the franchise received a massive explosion of attention and popularity. Business was better than it had ever been before. Countless reviews of the place stated that "the food here tastes different than before, but in a good way! It's never been better!" The place became so unbelievably popular that it was concerning. Many customers would order from there multiple times in the same day, and sometimes wouldn't even leave the parking lot. Despite all this however, the owner was ecstatic that his franchise was back up on its feet, to the point where he barely paid any mind to the fact that he had to constantly hire new employees because they kept on disappearing without a trace.

~Unfortunately, his excitement didn't last forever, as he eventually caught on to what was going on behind the scenes. Turns out that what Rusty meant by "feeding off of the business" was killing the employees, consuming their souls and mixing their remains into the food sold to customers. He'd tampered with the recipes in order to make them addictive, which is why customers would come back so frequently. It would also cause anyone who consumed the product to behave in violent, almost animalistic ways, until they eventually died. Rusty would take their souls as well.

~Of course, the owner was utterly horrified and enraged, as this had never been mentioned in their deal. He demanded that the arrangement be called off, which Rusty was fine with, though he wasn't going to just leave without taking his "payment." He slaughtered and ate the soul of not only the owner, but everyone else who was inside the building, and even those who were within close proximity of the building outside. And with that, the entire franchise was practically scrubbed off of the face of the Earth, becoming nothing more than a fuzzy memory. As quickly as it came, it left.

~Eventually, Rusty was discovered by GL Labs in the abandoned facility, and was subsequently transferred to the mansion. There, they performed countless experiments on him in hopes of finding a proper way to secure him and have him contribute to Spooky's plan, though they could not successfully contain him in the building, no matter what they tried. He proved to be quite the hassle for the staff.

~To this day, he'll often wander off outside of the mansion to wherever he wants to go, usually just to get food, but sometimes he'll also pick up miscellaneous items that the other specimens have requested. Though, just like William Afton, he always comes back. (Hahahaha see what I did there??? Uhh you're supposed to laugh ahahaha :))) wait where are you going-)

~Due to not being bound to the mansion, Rusty could essentially leave and never come back. He has the ability to reach freedom, but he doesn't. Whenever he's asked about it, he always just says that "he doesn't have anywhere else to go," which is somewhat true, but in reality, he doesn't want to leave because he doesn't want to abandon the other specimens. Despite being absolutely terrible at expressing his feelings, he cares a lot about them because he knows that they look up to him.

~He especially cares a lot about Gale (aka Specimen 2,) but for no specific reason or anything............ Nah ofc it's for a specific reason lol, they are in fact dating and, despite Rusty's grumpy and reserved exterior, he thinks that Gale is the most precious and amazing person ever.

~Once he brought an entire live cow into the mansion in order to kill and prepare it himself (since usually he'd just steal meat straight off the hooks from butchers,) but Lyre (Specimen 8) intervened and wouldn't let him. Now, that cow lives amongst the many deer in Lyre's specific room, and has been reported to have grown sharp teeth just like them. (Keep in mind that this cow has absolutely no relation to the Ghost Cow or Dr. Tochigi. It is literally just a normal cow lol.)

~When around other specimens, Rusty isn't nearly as violent as his Cat-Dos entry states, but he can be rather irritable and even apathetic at times. However, he'll come out of his shell sometimes, in which he'll show a more mischievous side of himself. He won't hesitate to make a snarky remark or two if he feels it's necessary. When it comes to chases though, Rusty goes utterly ballistic. He's up there as one of the most merciless specimens alongside others like Lisa and Ghost Cow.

~Spooky doesn't necessarily like Rusty all that much. She says that she would be impressed by his high fatality count if he didn't eat the souls of all of his victims. Without souls, she cannot add to her ghost army, so she basically views him as a useless glutton. She almost had him exterminated, but the other specimens convinced her to change her mind, as they didn't want a dear friend of theirs to suffer such a fate. To this day, the others have kept this knowledge a secret from Rusty out of fear of how he would react.

~In truth, his products aren't actually 100% beef. They're more like, 60% beef if anything, but that doesn't sound nearly as catchy of a slogan, now does it?

~Though fast food is his specialty, he can cook just about anything. Or at least, he can try to. He does his best to pertain to everyone's food preferences and whatnot.

~Rusty lets the younger specimens into the play area of his restaurant if they want, though on numerous occasions, he's had to go in himself and retrieve them because they didn't watch out for snakes (which the rules CLEARLY state.)

~The environment in his Meat Dimension is made up of practically every type of meat imaginable. Yes, even human flesh (though after reading everything prior to this, that's probably not too shocking.)

~No, he's not wearing gloves. Those are in fact claws. They're covered in a short, very fine layer of fur, which is actually quite pleasant to touch (but don't think you'll be able to, cause if you try, he'll probably rip your arm off.)

~He is able to manipulate the flame that grows above his head. He can grab and throw it like a projectile, which is his main form of attack if his victim is far away from him. It will also burn at varying degrees depending on his mood.

~If his victim is close enough to him, then he'll slash at them with his signature cleaver. Either way, Rusty weakens them until they are no longer able to run away. Then, he transports them to the Meat Dimension, where he finishes them off.

~The tear stains underneath his eyes are seemingly permanent and he has no idea if he can get rid of them. His tears are also a dark red color. (No they are not blood, surprisingly.)
