Me just complaining abt Specimen 13 lmao

What the FUCK is up gamers??? Yes I know it's literally been over a year since I last touched this book, but guess what???? I'm back! For how long? I have no clue, but that doesn't really matter!

Anyway, let's just dive right into what this chapter is all about (and yes that pun was 100% intended,) Specimen 13!

Now, I've played a LOT of Endless Mode. I just checked, and I have a total of 75 hours logged in SJSM, and I can guarantee that about 90% of those hours are from Endless Mode.

So tell me WHY and HOW is Specimen 13 ALWAYS one of, if not THE first Specimen I encounter whenever I start a new Endless run.

I don't know if the game is just programmed to make Siren more common during the early rooms, or if I'm just super unlucky, but I genuinely can't recall a single instance where Specimen 13 wasn't one of the first Specimens I encountered.

Now, if this was literally almost any other Specimen, then I wouldn't be here complaining to begin with. Tirsiak? I can deal with that. Beef Demon? No big deal. Hanged Man? A walk in the park.

But of COURSE the Specimen I always get stuck with is the most frustrating one to be chased by. Like genuinely I'd say Siren is more infuriating to deal with than Parasite or Lisa, because at least with those two, you're almost always consistently moving (even if it's slow.) But with Siren? It's hell. It's absolute hell. It takes so goddamn long to progress through the rooms, which I get is the whole point of her chase mechanics, but I still hate it either way.

BUT WAIT. IT GETS WORSE.

BECAUSE THEN SOMETIMES GOOP DECIDES TO JOIN IN TOO.

As all of you probably know by now, I fucking LOVE Goop. He is my scrunkly little scrimblo guy. But even so, when he decides to team up with Siren, even I get infuriated. Constantly swapping between trying to speed through all the rooms and stalling out Goop by repeatedly him with the axe while I recover HP might as well be torture. I literally quit one of my Endless runs a while back simply because I was sick of dealing with these two (I was only like 400 rooms in though so it wasn't really that big of a deal.)

I don't really have much to say about Bab or Old Man because I think I've only gotten them with Siren maybe once each?? But yeah neither of them are as bad as Goop cause he can just float over the water :')

Anyway uhhhh that's all I got for now. Hope y'all enjoyed my epic yapping session, bc I've just been so frustrated with Siren lately now that I've picked the game back up recently. I still love Siren in concept, but that doesn't make her any better to deal with :P

I do plan to have more actual content posted on here again at some point. Idk when exactly, but hopefully sometime pretty soon, so keep a lookout for updates lmao
