"Ariana, I'd like you to meet Ed."
I rose from my seat and walked over to the boy.
"Hello Ed." I said as I gave him a friendly hug.
"Hi." he smiled. Wow, he had a nice smile.
"Ariana, do you mind showing Ed to his room?" asked Harry, who was now sitting on the couch with Aubrey.
"Not at all. Follow me." I smiled to Ed, and took his hand. I led him to his room, and pushed open the door.
"Here we are. Sorry its nothing much." I said.
"Oh, no worries. I've had much worse." He joked.
"Would you like some help unpacking?" i asked, hoping he'd say yes.
"I'd love that." he replied.
"So, tell me about yourself?" i proposed.
"Where do I start? I was born in Halifax. I'm a fairly quiet guy. I lived on couches most of my life. I sing." he explained.
"Oh, can you sing something for me?" i asked, putting on my puppy-dog face, that always worked.
"Like what?" he asked.
"What songs do you know?" i asked him.
"Well, I have a bunch of originals." he smiled.
"Yay! Sing one of those!" i said, genuinley excited to hear him sing.
"Which one?" he asked. Wow, he asks a lot of questions.
"Your favorite one!"
"Okay."
I sat on the edge of his bed, patiently waiting to hear if he was any good.

Holy shit, this guy is good.

He smiled sheepishly, and looked at me.
"So, what do you think?" he asked.
"Wow." was all I could manage to get out.
"Was that a good-wow, or a bad-wow?" he asked with a debatable face.
"An amazing wow." i smiled. He blushed and smiled at the ground.
I could get used to this kid.
