After working a long shift, getting the medicine for Charles and having a small encounter with a strange man, Logan was on his way back to the factory.

He parked the limo, and limped inside. He saw Caliban in the kitchen area, Charles was in the other room talking none sense and his wife was nowhere to be seen.

"He's having a bad day" Caliban spoke up, as Logan put the bag of medicine on the table.

"They're all bad days" Logan muttered, as he drank some water from the tap.

"He needed these six hours ago" Caliban said, then looked in the bag.

"This is not enough, you know. Won't see us through the week" The pale man went on.

"I'm working on it" Logan grunted, taking a beer from the fridge and walked towards Caliban who shoved the bag towards him.

"Your turn. I've had a rough night and so has your wife" Caliban said. Logan didn't really care much for the man, but his worry for his Laura grew more.

"Poor you" Logan scoffed, walking towards where they keep the medicine.

"In other news, he told me last night he's communicating with someone" Calian spoke up.

"He's not talking to anybody" The male Howlett grunted, turning on the lights.

"Don't be so sure. He's got all these details. I thought that tank was supposed to act as a barrier. It's got them cracks in it" The man spoke on, honestly driving Logan crazy.

"Just please stop" Logan snapped, as he grabbed what he needed and went to the tank Charles was in.

"You're not listening. He's been asking questions again about why we're here. I think he's trying to read my mind"

"That's what these are for" Logan pointed to the bottle of pills, as he went outside and towards the tank.

"Friends, i have good news for you today! It's not about what you do. It's not about your deeds. You can't live up to God's rules. He knows that you can't. It's okay, we're imperfect" Charles yelled around the tank, but stopped when he wheeled in front of Logan.

"Make way, sir" He ordered, but Logan didn't move.

"I said make way!" Charles yelled, as the Howlett man went to give him his injection.

"The new Quesalupa from Taco Bell! Get it with chicken! Get it with steak! And with the cheese baked right in the shell...it's the next big thing! Go now while supplies last" Charles yelled, once again wheeling around the tank until he stopped in front of Logan again.

"Who are you?" The old man asked quietly.

"You know who i am" Logan answered, while rolling up Charles' sleeve.

"You're the man who puts me to sleep" Charles stated.

"We could both use some sleep" And just as he was about to inject the old man, he yelled out.

"No! No!" He protested, and ended up falling backwards off his wheel chair.

"What are you doing to me?" Charles cried, while panting on the ground.

"Charles" Logan warned, as he went to walk towards the man but stopped when his body froze and pain ran through his body.

Charles was having another seizure. Groaning in pain, Logan slowly got to his knees, leant over Charles' body and injected the liquid into his chest.

The pain was quickly gone, and Charles was back to normal...ish. It was quiet for aa minute before the man on the ground spoke up.

"How long have i been here?" He asked Logan quietly, who then helped him into his bed. The man then handed Charles the pills he needed.

"What are these?"

"You remember what they are. The shots mellow the seizures. The pills keep them from happening. How about you blow on them to make them safe?" Logan explained.

"Fuck off, Logan" Charles spat back.

"So you remember who i am now" Logan answered with a scoff.

"I always know who you are, and Laura. It's just sometimes i don't recognise you two" The old man replied, then took his pills.

"You leave me alone with that fucking albino. He doesn't listen to me" Charles started.

"You have Laura, remember? I know for a fact she listens to you" Logan added.

"Well, yes of course. But i know a damn speciation when i see one" The old man answered.

"A what?" Logan questioned.

"Speciation. New mutant, a young one. There are forces trying to kill them. They want help"

"Forces, forces. It's too bad you're not in that business anymore" Logan grunts, as he picked up Charles' wheelchair.

"They don't want me. They want you and Laura" This caused Logan to scoff.

"Oh, yes, that's how stupid they are to want you. Laura i can understand, but not you. They're waiting for you two at the Statue of Liberty" Charles said, as Logan tucked him in.

"Statue of Liberty was a long time ago, Charles, a long time. There are no new mutants. Understand? Hasn't been a new one born in twenty-five years. Not anywhere. You always thought we were part of God's plan. But maybe...maybe we were God's mistake" Logan muttered quietly, sitting on the side of the bed.

Charles grabbed Logan's face, and looked into his eyes.

"What a disappointment you are. When i found you...you were pursuing a career as a cage fighter. A warm capper to a life as an assassin. Hooked on barbiturates. You were an animal. But we took you in. I gave you a family. I got you your wife back, who you didn't even know she was your wife"

"They're gone now. I have Laura left now, and I'm going to hang onto that as long as i can" Logan said, then left the tank with Charles speaking to him but went unheard.

A/N I know Laura wasn't in these two chapter but don't worry she's coming up.
