It was 7AM and I had just woke up. I was still on the couch but I noticed lily had put pillows behind me and a blanket on top of me. I stood up and cleared up. I had a quick look at the schedule and 97679 and 97414 were supposed to be on duty. As soon as I got out 97414 was there but 97679 wasn't.

'97414?'
'yeah?'
'where is 97679?'
'she said she wasn't feeling very well. She said she would try to come out but she didn't look that well either and she seemed...stressed out'
'I'm gonna go check on her'

I walked to where She was and I knocked on the door. No answer. I knocked again. She then opened the door.

'I'm coming dont worry'
'are you okay? 97414 told me you weren't feeling well'
'I'm fine...im just tired'
'alright, if your tried just be careful, alright?'
'yeah...'

I then noticed she was off. She did seem a little stressed and a bit worried.

'are you sure your okay? You seem stressed'
'yeah...i just can't find something. I'll look later'
'what is it? Maybe I can look'
'my gloves...'

I then realised she wasn't wearing them.

'oh...can I ask you a question?'
'yeah...but It needs to be quick'
'Why do you always wear your gloves?'
'I...'

She loked down at the floor.

'I don't really want to... Get...get into that...'
'are you okay? Is something wrong?'
'n...no! I..im fine!'
'are you sure? You don't look very good...you seem...weak'

She put her hand on her chest and it seemed like she was struggling. I heard her groan in pain.

'97679...what's wrong!? Are you okay!?!'
'I...i don't feel so good...'

She then fell backwards onto the floor. I quickly got down onto the floor to get her up. I picked her up and placed her in her room. I sat beside her,hoping she would be awake soon. I got up and started to look for her gloves. They seemed important as she didnt tell me why she always wore them. After a few minutes, I found them. I sat beside her and I noticed her eyes started to flutter.

'97679?'

She opened her eyes and she sat up slowly.

'oh great...my gloves...'
'I found them, don't worry'

I handed them to her and my hand but she'd against hers. I felt a shock of pain in my hand a few seconds later as she was putting her gloves on.

'ow'
'you alright?'
'yeah, I just got this pain in my hand.'
'did you brush your hand against my hand?'
'yeah but that was an accident'
'that's why I need them, I have powers that I need to conceal until I have finished my training course for controling them. When I practice, it makes me really tired and I practiced last night'
'but surely you would have felt better because you slept'
'no...it doesn't work like that, I would need to rest more, but that only works if I use a lot of my energy on it. I have to learn not to do that. When I don't use as much I'll be fine if I've slept'
'do you think your gonna need to rest?'
'yeah but...i need to be on duty today, that's the whole reason you came'
'maybe you shouldn't, it might be dangerous'
'ill be fine'
'no...you won't, if your that tired you need to rest. You would most likely pass out again and you might hurt yourself'
'but...who would be on duty?' 'ill ask lily if she can, you just focus on resting, alright?'
'another thing about my power is...I do better when listening to music or singing my favourite songs helps with controlling it'
'I see...is it usually the songs I make that help'
'yeah...one day I...listensd to the spectre while doing it and I got pm a lot better and then I started listening to your songs a lot more and that's basically how I became a walker really'
'well, at least you found a a way to control it better. Right, you better get some rest'
'okay...thanks for your help' 'it's alright'

She suddenly lent forward and hugged me. I hugged her back.
She seemed really tired. She then got out of my arms.

'once I'm not so tired, ill show you how I do it'
'alright, just...be careful'
'dont worry, I will'

She then laid down and turned into her side. I stood up and tired to leave but she said something else.

'wait!'
'what's up?'
'don't tell anyone, please...i don't want this getting around'
'your secrets safe wtih me'

I took out my phone and accidentally dropped it. I picked sit up and turned around to see she was already asleep. I walked out and I saw lily was outside.

'Alan, where were you?'
'97679 fainted and I had to help her'
'alright, but why?'
'shes tired, she hasn't slept much'
'oh, right'
'can you take over for her?'
'yeah'
'thanks lily.'
'it's alright!'

I then remebred the secret lily was keeping for me. I knew I had to tell them all.
