There they stood. In their  uniforms. They were staring at me with a menacing look. There was about 12 of them. But then I noticed...HER. There stood Scarlet,my crazy exs' sister. My ex stood behind her. She worked for Red nexus.

'hello, lily, long time no see!'
'nexus...what are you doing here... Come to terrorise the walker community because of your own mistakes...'
'oh! Like your mistake was leaving my brother so soon and trusting that stupid guy with the mask!'
'YOU LEAVE ALAN PUT OF THIS!'
'oh really! Should I?'
'Yes! You and your stupid company raided his hideout! He could have called the police on you! That's invasion of private property! And trespassing!'
'oh...but he had false information about us! Saying were frauds!'
'You took his laptop and his AVI-8 models! You litterally turned them to be used for the wrong thing!'
'hah! Drones are supposed to be for evil!'
'just leave! Noone wants a group of little sh*ts ruining their day!'
'oh no! What's the French girl gonna do! Please, your 1 against 12!'

Then someone interupted.

'actually it's 75! You didn't forget about the huge crowd behind your enemy did you! Now leave before all of us and the AVI-8 drones a take you out!'
'yeah! Alan and I reprogrammed them a while ago you know!'

Then 97679 came with something.

'leave before things get messy! I'm not afraid to stab you straight in your stupid little brains!'
'listen kid, you don't scare me! What are you! 8!'
'im 13 actually, fata*s! Drop the bullsh*t! Leave!'
'alright then, but don't expect that to be the last time we're here!'

They all then left. I was shocked by the fact that she threatened them. She had never flipped like that before in the time I had known her. I then heard Alans voice from behind me.

'uhhh- where ddi you get a knife'
'I don't distribute that kind information. It's for your lots own good,trust me'
'alright then-'

Alan then walked off because he had to go lay Andreas down. A couple of minutes go by and he comes back.

'so, is he alright?'
'yeah, the nurse said he's exactly like me, immune but with side effects...'

Alan seemed really off. Like something was wrong.

'Alan, what's wrong?'
'I can't bare to see him like that...I don't want him to feel like that...'
'I know...but... Maybe that's more inspiration to protect him and the others! I'm sure you wouldn't be happy to see any of the others like that,would you?'
'no...noone that hasn't done anything bad enough to deserve it as karma should feel that way...'
'the thing is Alan, you are right.'

I put my hands on his shoulder and pulled him into a hug. I was proud of him for standing up for what he believed in. He hugged me back.he then pulled away. He still was wearing his mask but then he pulled it down and smiled at me. I hasn't seen him smile without his mask for weeks. It made me tear up.

'you...you haven't done that for weeks!'
'I know...its because of what happened...'
'its alright...you don't have to explain that to me'
'I know...'

He hugged me again and after a couple minutes he went kinda limp.

'Alan?'

No response.

'Alan? Are you okay?'

I heard him breathing but he was limp like he was asleep. I signaled one of the walkers over. 97414. I asked if they could see if he was asleep. He was. I had to wake him up.

'Alan...wake up...come on...'
'I'm real tired right now lily...'
'i know...lsts get you back so you can rest.

We walked back and Alan seemed really exhausted. It was most likely from when he was carrying Andreas back and fourth. Once we got in, he immideatly went to sleep on the couch. He was laid there,curled up in a ball like a child. I grabbed on of the blankets off the shelf and laid it on him. I then went to his and andreas' room and grabbed his pillows and put them behind his head. I went back in his room to check on Andreas. He was awake.

'lily?'
'hey Andreas. How ya feeling?'
'A bit better...but...wheres Alan?'
'he's asleep. He was  absolutely exhausted.'
'i can see why...its been a long day...'
'its almost 9... I better get to bed'
'yeah...and I should *coughs* get back to sleep...but...can I ask you something lily?'
'yeah, what is it?'
'Why were you and Alan arguing earlier?'
' I don't want you to take this the wrong way but It was because you were resisting. When Alan said you needed to see the doctor.'
'I...didnt mean to make him...argue with you...'
'he was just worried about you, that's all'
'I know...but... He knows I don't like seeing doctors...'
'but he knew it was for your safety...he does care about you...he wants you to feel safe here with us and everyone else'
'I know...*coughs*'
'you should probably get some rest, your starting to sound better but if you don't rest you'll get worse'
'okay...night lily'
'sleep well andreas'

I left and shut the door. I went to go check on Alan and he was still asleep. I then went to bed.
