~The Raid~

//Yordan's P.O.V//

Later on that week, a few were assigned to do a raid.

'97679,22,28300. You 3 and me are doing this week's raid in the city'

97679 then shouted.

'Why me!'
'because you haven't done it yet, and someone will need to look out'
'okay'

Then me, 0 and 28300 grabbed our weapons but 97679 didn't.

'97679,you'll need to defend yourself'
'I'll use my powers'
'but, won't you get tired?'
'I'm not gonna use it much. And I now have learned ways to use less of my energy whist using my powers'
'but, you're wrist is sprained'
'OH yeah, I can't feel any pain in it'
'how...'
'i have something called a high pain threshold and it stops me from feeling high quantities of pain. I can feel certain types of pain and not others.'
'oh...alright...but...how are you gonna use them?'
'I would have to use one hand but it would also maybe hurt me. I haven't tried doing it with one hand yet'

Then 0 and 28300 called to us and we got going. 97679 was just pretty much paying attention to 0 the whole time.

//97679's P.O.V//

I just felt like I had to pay attention to alan the whole time. I was so interested in what he had to say. I had been doing my best to keep the inner famgirl in lately because he had been talking to me a lot because he seemed very interested in my powers. Ever since I collapsed after the red nexus incident, I'd been trying to do my best to keep it in. I was blushing behind my mask. I had to keep really calm though. Trying to keep in was fraining my energy though, I just didn't know it yet. We searched the place for an hour until we got what we needed and left. As we walked back we ran into someone I knew. Crystal. My worst enemy.

'well well well...if it isn't the orphan!'
'f*ck off! I don't need your sh*t right now! If you're gonna p*ss me off, you may as well suck a f*cking d*ck'
'what did you just say to me?'

She then pushed me against a wall and pulled me away and very forcefully shoved me against the wall. My head hit it and I screamed out of fear. She then pushed me onto the floor. She jumped on me and punched me in the nose. I screamed and cried from fear. Then 22 grabbed her and threw her. Alan and lily rushed to me to make sure I was okay. I felt lightheaded, nauseated,dizzy and my head hurt.

'Are you alright? Are you hurt?'
'I...i feel sick and lightheaded...'

Alan then felt around my head and he moved his hand away and there was blood. Lily looked worried.

'we need to get her back. She might be concussed'

Alan then picked me up and ran with me in his arms. I didn't even realise until I felt more sick. We reached the village and he took me to the nurse. I couldn't even understand what was going on at the time because I was so out of it. My head hurt and I felt sick. The next thing I know, I've backed out and then I wake up and yordan was holding me this time. He looked down at me and I looked up at him.

'you're awake...'
'yeah...'
'you feel okay?'
'no...i feel awful...'
'well, the doctor hasn't come back yet'
'oh...alright...'

//yordan's POV//

She then leans her head on my chest. She coughed and put her arm around my back. I held her closer. Then the doctor came in.

'ah, glad so see your awake.'

The doctor then turned to me.

'she'll be fine but she has a minor concussion. She'll need to rest. You may have to stay with her for the week. Bring her back at the end of the week to make sure she's getting better.'
'alright'

She got up slowly so I helped her. I then just clung onto my arm. She looked exhausted. I tried to pick her up again but she didn't let me. We went to 0's house because she was worried about the raid being successful.

'glad to see you're okay'
'did you manage to get what we needed?'
'yeah but what matters right now is that you're okay'

0 then looked at me.

'so,what did the doctor say?'
'she's concussed and she needs to stay with one of us'
'who?'
'I'll stay with her'
'you sure?'
'yeah'

97679 then hugged me tight.

'you alright?'

She shook her head. She looked worse than earlier. I decided to pick her up and take her home.

//a week or so later//

'BABY IM ALL ABOUT HEADLIGHTS!'

I was singing along to headlights in my room. I was enjoying my music. I couldn't listen to it for a week because of my injuries. My phone then buzzed. It was a news article saying everything was going back to normal. Then I heard alan getting everyone together. I rushed out the door.

'as many of you may have heard, the infection is almost over and I just want to say, it's been great having everyone here. Now, you guys must get your things and go home. I will update the forum with a message so look put for that.'
