Oof, it's been a lot longer than I intended. Over a month since the last update. Every day I opened up my computer and stared at the blank chapter. I knew what was going to happen I just had to write it. I finally did after I told myself that I had to update before the month was over and I did it!

Vienna felt awkward entering the galley that evening worried about how the crew would react to her earlier breakdown. But nothing was said, they just smiled at her and continued talking about who took down more marines during the battle this morning. At one point Bepo leaned over and whispered,

"How are you doing Ve?" She flashed the mink a small smile,

"Better, thanks Bepo." She responded before turning back to her chicken and mashed potatoes. Law made his appearance towards the end of dinner but only grabbed a plate before returning to his room. Vienna spent the rest of the evening with the crew in the rec room sitting around tables playing card games. Ve was undefeated in poker and eventually was banned by the rest of the crew who was now broke.

The following days passed smoothly, Vienna spent a lot of her time in their training room strengthening her wings again. She barely saw Law who was basically locked in his room the entire time. There were no other marine or enemy pirate encounters which allowed the crew to heal and prepare for their next battle.

A knock on the door caught Ve's attention. She turned mid-stretch to find Shachi,

"Hey, Captain says we're going to dock in a few minutes. Just a quick supply run, but we will be free to roam the island afterward."

"Thanks, I'll be up in a few," Ve says standing up and rolling out her shoulders. She walked back to her room to change into a tank top with a low back and shorts. She was borrowing them from the only female crew member, Ikkaku. Law had decided to not make her wear a boiler suit as she wasn't working with the submarine engines and they would have had to customize it to fit her wings.

When she met the crew at the door she was handed a poncho that would drape over her wings. Apparently, it almost never stopped raining on this island. Law stepped in front of his crew before the door,

"Okay everyone knows their task. Once it is completed you are free to roam Ame Island. Just don't cause any trouble for the locals, and pay for your meals. You are free to come back to sleep on the submarine or elsewhere if you wish. We will be departing tomorrow at dusk if all goes as planned." He explains before letting the crew exit the sub. Bepo would be staying on the ship while the crew went out, he wasn't a big fan of the rain.

Law approached Vienna in the back and handed her a small pouch, before she could protest he explained,

"To buy yourself a few pairs of clothes and other necessities. Also for food and a possible hotel stay if you wish." She nods quietly watching as Law exits the sub into the pouring rain before disappearing over the edge,

"Hey? Ve you coming?" Penguin asks from the doorway. Vienna blinks realizing she hadn't moved yet,

"Oh! Yeah, sorry. I'm coming."

It's a cold rain with a howling wind causing it to fall slanted. The dark clouds made it look like it was night, and the rain made visibility low so the town lights were barely visible. Vienna wandered around looking at the different shops and restaurants. A tailor shop on the main street caught her eye knowing she needed clothes that would fit her wings. The small bell greeted her as she pushed open the door. Once it closed behind her the sounds from the storm faded into the background,

"Welcome to Clover Tailors. I'm Charlotte, let me know if there is anything I can help you with!" A young woman behind the counter called. Ve glanced around at the walls lined with fabric, a rack with a few premade clothes, and some changing areas.
