Ahhh, this is the first fanfiction I'm posting cause I am so bad about actually finishing them! But this one I will! After a lot of brainstorming, I am really happy with what I came up with for my O/C and her adventures. I will just state this now you will probably recognize some similarities with her as she does have wings, which act similar to Hawk's from My Hero Academia. She also eats a devil fruit, called the Voice-Voice fruit which has similarities to Toge Inumaki from Jujutsu Kaisen. It is not the exact same so several things will be different, I just realized while writing Vienna that she had similarities to these two characters and it helped me picture her abilities easier. I really hope you enjoy this, I am having a lot of fun writing this, let's hope I don't hit writer's block too fast! This first character is a long one, and I don't know if the other chapters will be this long, but I plan on a long story, so there is a lot coming.
One Piece belongs to Eiichiro Oda, I can only take credit for the few o/c's present throughout the story.

Dawn Island awoke to another peaceful day, the residents living their normal lives unaware of the tragedy that struck the night before. However it would be covered up and when the news coos dropped today's paper to the Dawn Island residents they would see that the Marine's defeated another enemy with a buster call on an island full of demon like creatures that acted like humans and plotted to overthrow the world government. They claimed total annihilation of this demon species promising peace and safety now that the monsters were gone.
A survivor of this attempted genocide washed ashore just outside Gray Terminal. Unconscious and covered in burns and scrapes the little girl just laid on the beach too tired to move her tiny body. An elderly woman from the poorer district of the Goa Kingdom happened to take a walk down the beach early in the morning and was surprised to find the infant child laying there with tiny white wings sprouting out of her back. Rushing to the baby's aid the old woman was astounded to find the child still breathing, still clinging to life, what she had indured should have killed her, especially at such a young age. The old woman, Wendy guessed the girl couldn't be more than a year old, but this how tiny and frail the baby was it was hard to tell.
Wendy carried the baby back to her home in Goa making sure to tuck the baby into her shawl hiding her from the morning passerbyers. Wendy knew those wings on the girl's back would be a death sentence for her if she were to be discovered. The woman had been an explorer back in her younger days traveling the seas with merchants and pirates alike, anyone willing to offer her a ride to the next island. During her travels she had heard whispers of a group of people with wings on a hidden island but no one had ever confirmed their existence. Some rumors said they lived in the sky, others said the island was beyond the Grand Line or even Laugh Tale itself. But none of these rumors mattered to Wendy, only the safety of the baby cuddled into her arms.
Unable to take the child to the doctor, Wendy used her limited medical knowledge to care for the child. She spent the rest of the day trying to clean and cover her cuts and burns and stayed awake all time trying to nurse the baby's fever down. It wasn't until almost 24 hours after Wendy had found the girl did she let her have hope for the child's survival. The baby woke up later that day, eyes wide with curiosity as she sat up on the bed Wendy had laid her on. She watched Wendy with wonder as she walked over with a bowl of warm soup hoping to get some food into the girl's belly.
"Hello," Wendy said softly as to not startle the girl, "I'm Wendy. You must be hungry so I brought you some soup." The child seemed to relax as Wendy joined her on the bed and the girl reached for the food her stomach growling loudly. Wendy helped the girl eat, her small hands not coordinated enough to handle tableware. They sat in a peaceful silence at the girl slowly eat the soup. Once she was full she backed away and patted her stomach, almost as a sign telling Wendy she was done. Wendy smiled at the girl placing the half empty bowl on the bedside table for herself to finish later. When she turned back she found the child fiddling with the thin metal bracelet around her ankle.
