Somehow, I never imagined I'd do something as mundane as going on a run with Emma. The entire time, all I could think of was how good she looked with her pink cheeks and tight pants. The way her ponytail swung from side to side was driving me crazy.

I had to run in front of her, because all I can think of lately is her body on top of mine. I still don't know if it actually happened or if it was a dream. But I can't stop thinking of my hands pulling her close as I lay down on my bed, pulling her over me. The way her body molded to mine, her soft curves pressing against me. It had me taking cold showers much too often.

And her voice when I knocked on the bathroom door. When she was showering. She said she stubbed her toe. But my mind had insisted on a completely different scenario.

"Why are you so quiet?" Emma's brother asks, and dread fills me. If he ever knew the thoughts I have about his sister I.... I have no idea what he'd do. I've seen him eye up Emma's boyfriends before. Hell, I've even gone with him a time or two when we spied on her dates. Once, we even threatened one guy she was seeing. Noah found out he was cheating on her. She never knew.

"Just thinking," I say as we approach Noah's house. The lights are on and as we open the door, we can hear laughter. "What's going on?"

Noah shrugs. "No idea." We remove our coats and Jenna appears.

"Oh, it's you guys. I thought you were Emma."

Noah looks himself up and down. "A wig and some boobs, and I'm a dead ringer."

I roll my eyes and shake my head. They barely look like siblings.

"What's going on?" I ask.

"Frank is here." Jenna beams. "He arrived an hour ago."

"Really?" Noah's face gets a similarly goofy grin to the one Jenna is sporting. He pushes past her and she follows him back into the living room.

I tag along more slowly. Jenna sits next to Julian on the ottoman. D is sitting in an armchair, Ellie in his lap. She's laughing at something the newcomer said.

Frank Churchill is holding court from the couch. He's handsome, which isn't a surprise. He's smiling and laughing and has a way of filling the room. Noah hurries over to him and offers his hand.

I'm only vaguely aware of the introductions taking place. When Jenna says my name, I take a step forward and shake his hand. It's a firm handshake. I squeeze just a bit too hard, but I don't care.

I take up a post at the end of the room. Standing behind the armchair where Noah sits. As if everyone has agreed to let Frank have the couch to himself.

"It's so nice to meet you all," Frank says, and smiles. "I rarely have time to just hang out with people my age anymore."

"But it has to be pretty amazing to work alongside the people you've met." Ellie's eyes are large, but D is just smiling as she seems enamored by the actor.

"It can be." Frank doesn't stop smiling. "But most of the time, it's long days and hard work."

"Do you do your own stunts?" Noah asks, almost as wide eyed as Ellie.

"Not all of them. I have this amazing stuntman. Guys, you should see him. He has no fears and does things that would instantly kill me. Honestly, I don't think I could have done this movie without him."

"Ok," Ellie says. "I know this is lame, but could I get a selfie?"

Frank only laughs and pats the sofa next to her. D's hands linger on Ellie as he helps her up and gets up himself. Ellie squeezes in close to Frank.
