If Barry went bad

Chapter 8

Joe's Pov:

I woke up in what looked like the Arrow Cave. As I started to stir awake I saw Iris standing Infront of me. She clearly had some questions and behind her was Eddie and Oliver. "You have some questions?" I asked. "Why didn't you want to leave?" Oliver asked. "Because I don't care that Barry has turned evil he is still my son. He promised that nothing bad would happen to me. He is my child and in this instance I cannot choose sides." I said seeing a look of relief wash over their faces. "But why would choose to stay knowing that they have killed people?" Eddie asked this time. "Because like I said I cannot choose sides on this." As I finished speaking I got a text from Barry of all people. Want to meet me and Caitlin for dinner tonight. The text said. "What is it?" Iris asked this time. "A text from Barry asking to meet him for dinner." I said seeing them look at me with a look of concern. "No dad you can't." Iris said. "If there is anyone who can resolve this peacefully it is me." I said and the next thing I knew Oliver was walking over. "Ok you can go but you are going to wear a wire and you can't say no because if you do we will tie you to that pole over there." He said and I simply nodded. Sure I would love to just tell me when and where. I responded. The new Italian place across from S.T.A.R. LABS at seven. Barry responded. Once seven o'clock came I was waiting outside the restaurant when Barry and Caitlin arrived. Before we entered I slipped them a note saying that Oliver forced me to wear a wire. Barry looked furious but Caitlin convinced him to just shake it off and enjoy the dinner which is exactly what we did. After dinner was over Barry flashed Caitlin away and then a second later he came and picked me up. Once we had stopped I looked around and saw that we were back at S.T.A.R. LABS. "You aren't kidnapping me again are you?" I asked and Barry just laughed. "No I brought you here because that wire that you are wearing won't be able to broadcast through the walls." He said. "So then why did you bring me here?" I asked. "Right to the point. I want to make a deal with you. We watched the security camera footage of the rescue and noticed that you were taken by force so you are not an enemy however I want you to meet here at S.T.A.R. LABS all day every Wednesday to just talk and we will keep that room open for you incase you decide to join us or just want to spend some time here." He said but he had actual concern in his eyes. "And what would I do here every Wednesday?" I asked still noticing the concern in his eyes. It was likely because he thought that I might leave him. "You will just spend the day hanging out then we will have dinner at different restaurants then you will be free to leave at eight and you would have to be here by eight. You can come on other days but you have to be here every Wednesday and you can not bring anyone else with you." He said. "First off I accept and secondly I do not agree with your actions but I will never leave you or you Caitlin or you Cisco." I said and the three of them just gave me a hug. "Am I free to go or do I have to stay the night?" I asked and Barry nodded before flashing me to my house.
