If Barry went bad

Chapter 11

Joe's Pov:

Today I was called into CCPD because Barry, Caitlin, Cisco, and Hartley had committed another robbery and killed seven people. "Joe I want you running point on The Demon Flash case." Captain Singh said. "Also I want to talk to you in my office." He said as I followed him to his office. "Joe I want you to be honest with me I know Barry is The Flash but when The Demon Flashed showed up The Flash disappeared." He started to say when I cut him off. "So what do you want from me?" I asked. "Joe I know how much Barry means to you he means a lot too me too. Is Barry The Demon Flash?" He asked knowing that I would probably lie. "Joe please do not lie to me If Barry is The Demon Flash I will do my best to protect him but he has killed people." He said so I started to speak up. "Yes Barry is The Demon Flash, Caitlin is Killer Frost, Cisco is Reverb, and Pied Piper is a kid named Hartley Rathaway. I promised them I would protect them I am not on their side but I also am not on the side of the hero's because I just can't make a choice like that." I said realizing that I might have just betrayed Barry. "I understand Joe and I can see by the look on your face you feel like you might have betrayed them especially Barry so here is what we will do. I will do my best to protect them but like I said they have killed people. Lets do this ask Barry and Caitlin to dinner tonight and tell them that I will be there and I will talk to them and assure them that you did not betray them." He said and I nodded. "There is one more thing Killer Frost is her own personality however Caitlin joined her after she saw what happened to Barry." I said getting a confused look from Capt. Singh. "Why what happened to Barry and why did Cisco turn?" He asked so I decided to explain everything. "Well Iris cheated on Barry and said some things behind his back. Killer Frost setup some cameras in his apartment. Once Caitlin saw it in her or rather Killer Frost's mind she agreed to join her. As for Cisco once he saw the videos he decided to join them but the main reason is because Caitlin turned into Killer Frost when Julian decided to rip off Caitlin's power dampening necklace because after Abra Kadabra attacked S.T.A.R. LABS a pipe pierced through her stomach and then later she flatlined. Because of this Julian ripped off her necklace so that her ice powers would heal her. Cisco knew that he could help her but Julian didn't listen so he mainly wants revenge on Julian." I said having to catch my breath. "Wow Joe that's a lot here just ask them to meet at the Italian place across from S.T.A.R. LABS and we will talk then." He said and I nodded. Hey Barry do you and Caitlin or Frost want to meet me at the Italian place across from S.T.A.R. LABS I need to talk to you. I texted and got an immediate reply. Sure Frost said that she wants to go and Caitlin decided to let her. Barry replied. There is going to be one more guest Capt. Singh. I replied nervously. Why? He asked. Because he knows about you guys. I replied getting even more nervous. How? He asked. I will tell you tonight. I said. Ok. Was all that he said. Later that night I met Capt. Singh, Barry, and Frost at the Italian place across from S.T.A.R. LABS. After we were seated Barry started to talk. "So how does Capt. Singh know about us?" He asked looking at me. "Well..." I started to say before Capt. Singh cut me off. "Joe told me but before you do anything Barry or Killer Frost hear me out." He said and all Barry could do was nod but by the look on his face he felt betrayed. "I asked Joe and knew that he would try to lie so I told him that he had to tell me the truth." Singh said and I saw the look on his face grow. "I care about you Barry maybe not as much as Joe but I promise to try and protect you. I know that I won't be able to protect you as well as Joe can but I am willing to make a deal." Singh said. "What kind of deal?" Barry asked. "If you promise to not kill anyone else then I will do my best try and keep you safe however if anyone else dies then I will have no choice but to come for you." Singh said but before Barry could speak Frost spoke. "We can not promise that however we can promise to never harm any of your officers even if they get in our way." She said. I hadn't talked at all because I just couldn't. "How about this if you never harm any of my officers and agree to never leave Central City to cause harm then I will do my best to protect you." Singh said and both Barry and Frost nodded. "Joe you have been quiet all night." Singh said and all I could do was give him a look of nervousness to which he nodded and put his hand up to say that he would handle it. "lastly Barry Joe did not betray you he feels terrible about giving up your secret and honestly I don't blame him. I pressured him into telling me so please don't be mad at him." Singh said and Barry just stood up walked over to me and gave me a hug. "Joe I promised you that you would never be harmed and I intend to keep that promise. Besides tomorrow is Wednesday and we should probably tell Cisco and Hartley. Cisco should understand but I do not know if Hartley will. He promised not to hurt you but tomorrow he might so just be prepared." Barry said and I nodded. After that we enjoyed our meals and went our separate ways. I decided to spend the night at S.T.A.R. LABS because it was closer.

Frost's Pov:

The next morning after everyone was awake we all met in the cortex. "Barry and I have something to tell you." I said and then Joe arrived. I could see Barry start to get nervous so I just rubbed his back. "Joe might have told Capt. Singh about us." I said and Hartley stepped forward and blasted him through one of the glass panels leading into the med bay. As soon as this had happened Barry ran towards Joe to see if he was alright. Cisco held Hartley back and I formed an icicle but before I could launch it at him Barry stepped in the way. "Look Joe had a good reason and we understand. Capt. Singh kind of forced him to. We came to an arrangement that we would never harm any of his officers and never leave Central City to cause chaos then he will do his best to help Joe protect us." Barry said. Cisco nodded in understandings and surprisingly so did Hartley. "But he harmed Joe and we made him promise never to do that." I said as Barry lowered my arm. "Look Frost we both agreed that this might be his reaction but I promise you that is he ever pulls something like that I will kill him myself." Barry said looking at Hartley for the last part. We spent the rest of the day hanging out together after Caitlin looked Joe over. After he left Barry and I went to bed and spent the next few hours just being together.
