If Barry went bad

Chapter 9

Barry's Pov:

It has been a week since Joe's last visit and today he will be here again. I am honestly excited. I was laying in bed with Frost who was sleeping peacefully. As I was stuck in thought I didn't realize Frost tugging at my arm. "Barry what's up?" She asked looking in my eyes. "Nothing as surprising as it may sound I am just really excited for Joe to come over today." I said and she just gave me a passionate kiss. "Me too." She said smiling at me. "Why don't we spend some time together before we have to get ready." I said with a look of lust. "Ok." She said sharing the same look before kissing me. We spend the next hour together before getting ready for Joe to come over. Once he got here we just talked for a while and before long it was eight o'clock. After he left we went to bed. Caitlin and I cuddled up together and feel into a deep sleep. While I was asleep a nightmare came to me. It was exactly like when zoom killed my dad but instead it was Oliver and Caitlin.

Nightmare Barry's Pov:

"Oliver don't do it." I exclaimed seeing him holding Caitlin in a choke hold.

"This has to end Barry. If killing her is the only way then it has to be done." Oliver exclaimed bringing an arrow towards her throat.

"Barry you have to listen to me everything will be alright." Caitlin exclaimed.

"It will be ok Caitlin. Oliver please don't do it." I exclaimed getting ready to run.

"I am so sorry Barry but it has to end and this is the only way." He said bring the arrow closer to her throat.

"Barry Frost and I will always love you." She said.

"Don't talk like that Oliver listen to me." I said begging this time.

"I am sorry Barry." He said before slicing her throat.

"Nooooooooooo." I screamed as her body fell to the floor.

"I am going to kill you for that." I said charging towards him pinning him against the wall. As I was about to kill him he shoved an arrow into my chest.

"I am so sorry Caitlin." I said with my dying breath. Until I was awoken by Caitlin.

Caitlin's Pov:

"Barry wake up." I said shaking him worried because he was thrashing around. Once he woke up he could only hug me crying into my chest. "Barry what happened?" I asked with genuine concern. "A-a-a nightmare." He said with fear in his eyes. "What happened in the nightmare?" I asked even more concerned. "Oliver had you in my childhood home like Zoom had my dad and then then he-he-he killed you. I was going to kill him but he killed me too and I couldn't do anything at all." He said crying even harder now. "Barry look at me I am still here nothing is going to change that Frost and I will always be here for you and that will never change." I said and then we cuddled up and went back to sleep.
