If Barry went bad

Chapter 23

Caitlin's Pov:

It has been a couple weeks since Barry has been captured and I have been trying to find a way to kill the nanites in his body. Iris was let out of the cell designed for me the day after she was put in it. Whatever Joe said to her half worked because she is still picking fights with me but they are not as frequent. Oliver and I have been getting along really well but I have been trying to keep my distance from Ronnie. Today was different however because I was in the main room when someone I did not expect came out of the elevator. It was Julian. The instance he saw me he ran towards me. "Caitlin your back." He said excitement plastered across his face. When he got to me he tried to give me a kiss but I stepped back. "What are you doing here Julian?" I asked my hands on my hips while I was leaning on one leg. "I came to see you I love you and when I heard that you were back I had to see you." He said. This caused some anger to rise in me because there is only one person that I love and that is Barry. "I am sorry Julian but I don't love you I love Barry." I said looking away. At this moment Oliver, Ronnie, Eddie, and Harry walked in. "Iris said that you would say something like that but I know in my heart that that is not true." He said walking closer to me. "Well it is true I only love Barry." I said trying to step back. At this moment he kissed me and before I could swing at him Oliver pushed him away and Ronnie was standing Infront of me. Harry and Eddie ran up to my side. "Julian what the hell are you doing?" Ronnie asked and I could see some sort of anger in his eyes. "I love Caitlin and I know that she loves me." He said getting up and trying to approach me again. This time Oliver stepped Infront of me. "Julian leave now." Oliver said getting ready to knock him out. "No not until I know that Caitlin loves me." He said but I could tell that he was unsure about what he said. "Well she doesn't and what the hell makes you think that you are welcome here. You are one of the reasons that Barry is locked in his cell." Ronnie said. "Fine." He said but not with a huff like Iris but more of an understanding. "Are you ok?" Harry asked and I nodded. "Guys can I have a moment alone with Caitlin?" Ronnie asked and everyone nodded except for Oliver. "Oliver stay." I said looking at Ronnie who nodded. "Caitlin I am sorry about when I tried to convince you to love me again. I know that you love Barry and that you thought I died. It was not right of me and I am sorry." Ronnie said. "Apology accepted." I said hugging him. As he left Oliver started to speak. "Caitlin I know that all of this is a rouse and that you are still evil but I want you to know that you and Barry are my friends and nothing bad will ever happen to you." Oliver said and I nodded. "Oliver How did you know? And why am I not in a cell?" I asked looking at the ground. "Well I am not an idiot and the reason that you and Cisco are not in cells is because you guys are still my friends and I know that if I locked you in a cell Iris would never leave you alone and I can't have that." He said. "Oliver I want you to know that even if you try to stop us you are no longer an enemy. You have been sticking up for me this entire time and you have also moved Frost slightly." I said and he gave me a look of confusion. "How so?" He asked. "Well both of us only thought that Barry cared this much about us but the way you have been sticking up for me is something that we thought only Barry would do. You have also shown Frost that there is more to life than being evil. That doesn't mean that we are turning good it just means that now she considers you a friend." I said causing a smile to creep on his face. "Well tell Frost that if she ever needs someone to talk to I am here." He said. "Well she wants to talk to you now but can't because of these cuffs." I said seeing a worried look make its way onto his face. "If I take them off only to let Frost talk to me then can you promise that she won't try to escape or hurt anyone?" He asked and I nodded. He took off the cuffs and Frost took control.

Frost's Pov:

Oliver let me out only briefly but he let me out. I wanted to thank him and also just talk to him. "What do you want to talk about?" Oliver asked looking at my white hair. "Well first of all I wanted to thank you for sticking up for Caity. I also wanted to ask a favor." I said. He looked confused for a second then he shook it off. "What is the favor?" He asked. "Well first I want to ask you if you will continue to protect Caity since I can not and I also wanted to ask if you would train Caity in hand to hand combat in case you can't be there to protect her?" I asked and at this moment Harry walked back in. He looked like he had seen a ghost. "Oliver watch out." He said firing his plasma rifle at me hitting me in the ribs. "Frost are you ok? Harry calm down she promised not to hurt anyone." Oliver said helping me up. "Sorry." Harry said before leaving. "Are you ok?" Oliver asked again. I simply nodded and looked back at him. "So about my earlier request?" I asked. "Yes I will train Caitlin in hand to hand combat. But you have to promise me that there will be no more killing." Oliver said and I nodded. After this he put the cuffs back on and Caity took control again.
