If Barry went bad

Chapter 20

Caitlin's Pov:

I was in bed admiring the ring on my finger. I rolled over to see Barry sleeping peacefully. It was almost an hour before he woke up but once he did he stared straight into my eyes. His eyes were sparkling and we started to kiss. We spent the next few hours just spending time together. Once we were done we ate breakfast and headed down to the cortex. Once we got there we saw that Cisco was working on his googles and Hartley was just siting in a chair behind the desk. As we walked in both Hartley and Cisco stood up and walked over to us. "Congrats you guys." They both said in unison. "Thanks." I said blushing. We all started to talk when an idea popped into my mind. "Hey Barry why don't you and I go show this off to Iris." I said lacing her name with hatred like always. "That is a great idea." He said speeding us to Jitters. We ordered some coffees and sat down. As we had hoped Iris delivered our coffees. When she did a look of terror came across her face. "Don't worry we are not here to hurt you." I said and the look on her face faded. "Then why are you here?" She asked and Caitlin held up her hand. "Who proposed to you?" She asked and Caitlin looked at me. "What Barry but why? You are already engaged." She questioned and this time I spoke. "Our engagement ended the day you cheated on me Iris and by the way no tip." I said as we left. We went back to S.T.A.R. LABS and were surprised to see that Joe was there. "Joe what are you doing here?" I asked but all he did was just give me and Barry a hug. "I just wanted to congratulate you guys. If I am to be honest I saw the way that you would look at Caitlin Barry and knew that she was the one for you." He said and Barry just gave him a bigger hug. "Thanks." Both Barry and I said in unison causing us both to blush. After Joe said his congrats he left and Barry and I started training. Barry was running around  the track and I had given Frost control. Frost was working on her hand to hand combat. After she was finished she gave me back control. I watched as Barry was running around the track to his hearts content. He stopped when he saw me staring at him. "Hey what's up?" He asked. "Nothing just wanted to admire my fiancé." I said giving him a kiss. "Well I am doing fine." He said giving me a kiss back. After this we went to bed for the night.

Barry's Pov:

I was asleep in my bed when I had a nightmare.

Nightmare Barry's Pov:

I woke up in bed but Cait or Frost was not there. I went down to the cortex and saw Frost standing there. "Frost what are you doing?" I asked and she turned to face me. "Who do you think you are calling me Frost." She said looking at me. "Frost it is me Barry your Barry." I said walking towards her. "You are not my Barry. I never loved you I only used you and now that we have captured the hero's I don't need you anymore." She said walking closer to me. "But why I thought you loved me." I said starting to cry. "Like I said I never loved you." She said making an icicle and shoving it into my heart.

Frost's Pov:

I was sound asleep until I hear screaming coming from Barry. He shot up sweating. I tried to comfort him but he fell out of bed and started crawling away. "Barry what is it?" I asked and he just continued to crawl away. "Barry what is wrong with you?" I said walking towards him. "Why don't you love me?" He asked as I got close to him. I crouched down next to him and brought him closer to me. "Barry what are you talking about both Caity and I love you." I said bringing him closer to me. "But in in my dr-dream you said that you you didn't lo-love me." He said looking away from me. "Barry of course I love you." I said bringing him in for a kiss. "But in my my dream you you killed me because you didn't love me." He said. This broke my heart. "Barry look at me." I said and he looked away. "Barry look at me." I said louder now which caused him to flinch. "I would never harm you and I will always love you. Not just me but Caity too." I said giving him another kiss. "Really you mean it." He said still looking sad. "Of course we do otherwise we wouldn't be your fiancé." I said and he started to relax in my arms. He started to cry down my back but I didn't care all I wanted was for him to feel better. After he stopped we went back to bed and I just cuddled up against him making him feel better. I let out a light mist as I started to fall asleep. This immediately calmed him down and he soon fell asleep.
