Taehyung’s POV

He grabbed my hair firmly, pulling my head back, and I yelped as the stinging sensation spread across my scalp.

"I hate you." My voice escaped through gritted teeth as a fat drop of tear held onto the corner of my eye.

His eyes were a shade of red and his dark pupils hid something darker behind him, something I had never noticed before.

It frightened me.

A flower of hope bloomed when I heard footsteps in the corridor. "Hel-" The words left my mother but were gagged by hand.

I remained silent until his hand slammed into my face with such force that I could taste the irony liquid that broke free due to the direct contact of my teeth with my cheeks.

And he smiled lazily as if admiring his actions. "If you'd just listen to me," he said as he drew his face closer to mine and dragged his nose along my jaw.

Before he yanked my body against the wall, causing me to fall into a mucky puddle. My legs tremble as I tried hugging myself.

While he sighed, he ran his fingers through his dark brown hair. A few stubborn strands fall back across his face, almost concealing the sinister look in his eyes as his gaze locked with mine.

My skin tightened at his cold gaze. "Why are you doing this?" I let out between sobs.

No words left his mouth as he dragged his feet towards a chair not too far from me. The cushion made a squishing noise as he dropped his body.

I dragged my body closer to the chilly wall, pulling the lapels of my shirt together in an attempt to shield my skin from the cold air in the room.

He leaned back, throwing one leg over the other without moving his gaze, "I'm hurt." He let out, his voice laced with sarcasm.

His eyebrows were slightly furrowed and his lips curled into a smile.

"I am sorry." I cry out, my throat dry and scratchy.  I apologized despite the fact that I had no reason to.

The moonlight streaming in through the pane of glass illuminated his face perfectly and highlighted all his emotions. Almost making him appear innocent, concealing his true self.

I dug my nails into my palm, trying to keep my fingers from trembling.

"I did find you interesting for quite a while," he says, his voice deep and dark, blending into the dreadful quietness. "Until you tried to use your brain too often." He said the last part with his jaw locked.

"Killing Sandy. Leading the cops to me."  It sounded more like a whisper to himself rather than me.

Suddenly, a hysterical laugh flares up from his chest. "I won't lie, that's also intriguing." He says this while attempting not to laugh. "Only if you hadn't gone out of your way to please another man in order to get to your goals." Every hair on the back of my neck stands on end when I heard his dark chuckle followed by his approaching steps against the hollow floor.

But I couldn't look up because my heart was pounding so loudly that I was certain he could hear it.

As I sensed him leaning towards me and his woody cologne tickling my nostrils, he clicked his tongue as if pitying me.

As I felt his hands against my arm, drawing me closer, my throat tightened. "What made you do all of that?" He purred with his forehead pressed against mine, and I almost fell for it, thinking he was finally softening up again until his next words punched me in the face.

"Did he fuck you that good?"  His voice questioned, mockingly as his fingers caressed the cloth over my chest. "Bless me too."

Feel free to leave your comments!

And I would like to address this "issue." I have received some comments of people feeling sad that Taehyung's character isn't the perfect loyal boyfriend and that he's nothing like the actual Taehyung, the one that does exist. The character only uses Taehyung's face if that makes sense, it's a character with his own personality, which is nothing like the person it is based on.
