Chapter 34

Alani's POV

I blinked a few times in surprise while he stared dead serious into my eyes with a faith smile on his lips.

"What? You don't want to?" He questioned, showing off his seductive smile that could get anyone on their knees.

I just kept murmuring some incoherent words, still looking into his eyes as I tightly held onto the covers that hid my naked form.

A strong wave of air entered the room, causing my body to shiver which didn't go unnoticed by Taehyung. He gently reached for my arm and pulled me against his body, making sure the blanket covered us both.

I closed my eyes, resting my head against his bare chest. I could listen to sound of his heart beating against his chest, still not being able to fully observe the fact that he's finally here. But sunshine flooded my sound upon his arrival.

He leans down and I close my eyes as he placed a kiss on my forehead, washing my worries away before pulling me closer and pushing away the few strands of hair that covered my face.

He moved his hand lower, caressing my cheek. "I will introduce you to my bestfriends tomorrow." His husky voice spoke and I looked up into his dark orbs, feeling the need to just drown in them. "Is it just me or do you look prettier after we fuck." He bluntly continued, catching me off guard.

I blushed furiously and covered my face, earning a deep chuckle from him.

I pouted at his teasing and tried pushing him off my body without uttering a single word, still shy from his previous comment. My heart was pounding like crazy but my stomach did flips. Why does my body always act weak around him?

He held my waist firmly, pulling me closer than earlier before he leans in for a kiss, I let out s soft gasp
His tongue slipping in my mouth, so demanding yet gentle.

But he pulled away suddenly, leaving me breathless but disappointed.

"Look at you moving greedy." He mocked, dragging his thumb across my lips.

I instantly looked away, scrunching my nose at him. "Fine, I won't kiss you from now on." I spoke in a defensive tone.

"Then I'll have to go look for kisses somewhere else I guess."

"I hate you." I whined, snuggling into his chest.

"I love you too." He replied, wrapping his arms around my small form.

A thought crossed my mind as I remembered what he told me earlier. "But I have to work tomorrow." I let out a deep breath.

"Don't worry about that. Sleep." He yawned, still holding me close.

And just like that I fell into a peaceful slumber.
