Author's POV

"Why do you have to bring this up everyday Alani!" Namjoon yelled, slamming his fist on the dining table.

"So it's my fault that you can't give time to your girlfriend? It's my fault that your work and friends are always more important than your girlfriend. " Alani yelled back as she stood up from the chair, fighting the few tears that were threatening to roll down her cheeks.

"So you what do you want me to do, leave my job, stop meeting friends and just keep sleeping on your lap? Spend my whole life, every second of it, glued to you?" He said, throwing the wine glass on the floor, shattering it into pieces. "The boss won't just promote me by looking at my face, I have to work for it." He added.

The air around them grew thicker every passing second.

"I never said, that you have to be with me 24 hours but don't I atleast deserve a date or even a movie date once in awhile. Like we used to do in the past?" She said softly, while tears streamed down her cheeks. Her stomach churned out of fear of what was coming next.

"You're unbelieveable. I can't even....." He left the dining area without completing the sentence, aggressively pushing the chair against the mahogany table. The sound echoed in the space, along with the soft sobs of the girl.

Namjoon and Alani moved in together recently but whenever they had a fight he would spend the night at his own house. Leaving Alani alone, to cry by herself but they didn't have a bad relationship or atleast Alani believed so. They really loved eachother, and both were aware that the lack of communication was creating a cliff between them.

After Namjoon left, she just sat on the floor, hugging her knees. And did what she always did, cry herself to sleep.

However this time her sleep was interrupted by the sudden ringing of her. She slides her finger right without even looking at the caller's ID.

"Hello?" She answered in a squeaky and shaky voice.

"Alani, have you been crying again." Her bestfriend, Amy asked concerned.

"No." She said trying to force a laugh ."Why?"

"You guys fought again right" She told Alani rather than asking her. "I'm coming right now." She continued, hundreds of potential excuses flooded Alani's mind.

Alani denied and tried to stop her from coming, but knowing Amy and her stubborn ass she gave up.

Just after half an hour there was a knock or rather a loud hammering on the front door.

"You know what, you guys just need to give eachother space." Amy advice. Eventhough she hasn't been in any relationships, she always has relationship advices. "I mean, none is at fault here actually."

Alani raised one eyebrow and looked at her bestfriend in disagreement.

"You need more of his time but he's actually working hard so that he can secure a future for you both. Try to see it that way."

"But-" She tried to say something but Amy interrupted her by putting her index finger on my lips.

"Get ready, let's have a ladies night out. That will help you cheer up." She said flashing Alani a smile.

"No, we just had a argument. We didn't break up or something."Alani rebuked.

"I'm not telling you to go and sleep with someone else. We could just go the club and have a few drinks." Alani's cheeks heated up at her own stupid words.

Alani's POV

I don't know how Amy managed me to approve of this idea. But here I am standing in front of the club, wearing a tight silky dress that barely covers my back and legs. The back was only covered by a few straps, leaving very less to the imagine. And the black dress ended several inches above my knees.

This was really a bad idea. I cursed myself. At moments like this I really wished I had long hair. Atleast my hair could cover my back.

I have brown shoulder length hair, that fell over my face in lose natural curls only being good enough to flatter my face shape.

As I entered the place, the first thing that caught my eyes was the flashy lights. Music blasting from the speakers. People dancing, glued to eachother. Here and there you can see some couples making out in the corners.

Since Amy was a regular there, soon enough she found someone and went on the dance floor leaving a confused me behind.

I felt like a child who lost her parents in the market, I could feel the booming of the huge speakers in my chest.

Looking around, I spotted a few free stools at the bar. So I went ahead and took a seat and ordered one shot of vodka. As soon as the liquid went down my throat, burning my insides, it started affecting my body. Don't judge me , I have a low alcohol tolerance .

Just after I ordered a second drink, I felt a warm hand brush my back. Startled I was about turn my face but stopped as someone spoke in my ears, his breath tickled the hair on my neck as I felt a strong arm wrap around my waist." You seem so lost baby."

My breathing hitched. "I'm waiting for my friend actually." I spoke after a short pause as I was feeling extremely uncomfortable but not for long.

I don't know if it was me, the alcohol or the man's handsome face that I couldn't control my hormones. Because the next moment I find myself on the dancefloor, literally glued to the stranger. Our bodies danced in sync with the music, moving effortlessly, grinding against eachother. It felt like humidity in the air had nearly dissapeared.

Everyone just dissapeared. It seemed as if we were the only two in the world.

His hands on waist and his lips sucking and nibbling on my neck. That for sure will leave marks.
