I was talking with our team’s manager when I saw Phoebs approaching
“Hey Phoebs? What’s good?” I said to her while stepping towards her smiling
“Hey Lynnie! Honestly? Today was the fucking best!” She said while jumping up and down, squealing
“Um okay… that’s the spirit! Tell me babe, did Jude finally stop being a coward and admit that he is dying to make out with you?” I said grinning at her scrunched eyebrows
“Oh shush it… we’ll not quite like that. No he didn’t phrase like that but he made it seem like he wanted it.” She said laughing at my shocked face
“OH MY DAYS! I fucking knew to. Uhhh how can I always be so goddamn right?! No but really where am I when the best things happen now
“ Don’t be so dramatic dummie. And you’re definitely not always right. Now let’s get to the hotel so I can tell you everything while suffocating myself with a pillow.” She said grabbing my arm and turning us to the other way. I laughed. She knows I am always right
~At the hotel
“ Girl he is down baddd! Trust me!” I said while jumping up and down with her to my bed. I am genuinely so excited for Phoebs
“Yeah I am not sure about it though! He may just want to kill his time and to fool around. You know I can’t have that right now.” She said honestly doubting the situation
That’s it! I will smack her “Um miss girly are you mentally deficient? Have you seen the way he looks at you or… He definitely likes you” I said trowing a pillow at her face
“Ouch you..! I don’t know I guess you are right but why would HE want to be with me?”
At that I get out of bed and throw myself at her
“ Ah! You know that I believe that nobody is perfect but you’re pretty fucking close to it. Both inside- out. You have everything Phoebe Gentile. And if Jude should look at somebody that is you and only you.” I said meaning every single thought
“You are such a cutie Lynnie you know that? The world doesn’t deserve you!” She said very genuinely. That’s why I love Phoebs she is just herself you know?
Before I started to get all touchy, my phone started to buzz and I reached out to grab it from the nightstand where I had left it to charge. That is when I saw the Id that made my stomach get all dizzy. Jobe was calling
“ Hey Lynnie! What is up?” He said softly while panting a little bit obviously from him still being at practice
“Oh hi Jobe! All good! Did you want something “ I said wanting to scream at how good he looked right now
“Um…um..yeah! I just wanted to ask you.. well.. today the sky is going to look very pretty from what I hear and I remembered that you like stargazing so I thought it would be a good idea to go picnic at the beach or somethingI-If you want obviously.” He said and my heart crashed from how adorably he stuttered all the time . But what really got to me is that he remembered I love watching the stars
“ OF COURSE! I mean yeah I would love to go watch the stars with you tonight!” Well done Addilyn! Bust his eardrums next time
“ I like that the thought of being with me makes you so excited Lynnie!” He teased making me melt in an instant! Can he do that all the time? I am staring to love that flirty side of Jobe
“Don’t be so full of yourself Bellingham!” I said trying not to show how flustered he got me
“ Whatever you say. I will come to pick you up at 8. Is that alright?” He said leaning closer to the phone
