STRANGE [ben chilwell]

It had been about a week and a half since Sofias little sister's wedding. Ben and Sofia had spent a lot of time together, almost all their time except when they were sleeping or Sofia was at work.

If someone was looking in from the outside you would think that they are together and nearly engaged but no.

They are just friends, for now.

Today, Ben wanted to surprise Sofia with a trip to the bookstore after finding out that she loved reading a few days ago.

He knew that she liked reading but he never knew that that's all she does with her spare time until then.

Ben woke up and as soon as he did, he got his phone to message Sofia like he did every morning.

Pretty well actually, apart from the fact that the little nugget kept waking me up x

That's good, I know you have the day off today so we're going out x

You'll see, we'll go whenever there's no rush to get ready x

Okkkk! Just come round when your ready to go x

Ben had began to fall for Sofia is he hasn't already; really didn't know what he was feeling.

He quickly got ready, excited to see Sofia. He wore a pair of grey joggers with a black hoodie and his white air force.

Once he was ready, as Sofia said he walked out his apartment, making sure to lock the door, and walked across the hall to Sofias apartment.

He knew he could just walk in as the door would be unlocked but he didn't want to do he knocked on the door and patiently waited for her to open the door.

When she did open the door, Ben was met with a semi happy and semi pissed off pregnant woman.

"Why didn't you just let yourself in? I'm 30+1 weeks pregnant, I can't just quickly get up to open the door." She chuckled as she let him in and closed the door behind him.

"I didn't want to intrude."

"I literally told you to come over when your ready, that's not intrusive. And besides, you could never intrude, your always welcome." She smiles at him before waddling to the kitchen to get him a bottle of water which was what he always had.

"I know but I still feel like I am." He follows her to the kitchen being cautious of her.

"I just need to finish this post from yesterday and then I'll get ready." Ben nods his head before realising her back is turned to him so she can tell.

"Ok, we'll there's no need to rush." She smiles at him and gives him the water before they sat on the sofa giving her time to finish it.

She was constantly having to empty her camera roll with the amount of pictures she had, that she had transferred on from her camera, of the Chelsea boys.

But so far, none of Ben.

He hadn't been at training since she had the job as she got it at he got injured.

She wished she did though. She wouldn't delete them.

Ben and Sofia were on their way to the bookstore but Sofia still didn't know where they going.

She had her hair in a messy bun with her maternity leggings on and a very loose fitting T-shirt with her coat on the top and her white air force to match Ben.

"Are we there yet?" Sofia asked like a little kid on a road trip. She was very uncomfortable with a big bump in a car for awhile.

Truth was they were in the car for 10 minutes but to Sofia it felt like hours.

"Yes. We. Are." He says slowly as he pulls up in front of a small bookstore which looked cosy.

"A bookstore!" She gasps as she looks out the window and see the little store on the corner of a two streets.

She jumps out the car, excited to go into the bookshop whilst Ben chuckles and gets out the car.

"Good surprise then?"

"Yesss." She jumps up and down before they walked into the store and Sofia ran to the romance isle.

She begged for a romance like the ones she read about but she knew it was very unlikely to happen.

Sofia scanned the aisle as a book caught her eye. She almost gasped as she had wanted this book for a long time.

She quickly tries to reach for it, not asking Ben for help, as it was on the top shelf and she was quite small but only her finger tips brushed it.

"Come on." She was getting frustrated until she felt a cold hand on her waist.

Bens hand extends over her head, reaches for the book, taking it off the shelf for her.

"Thank you." She beamed as she turns around and sees Ben smiling down at her.

"For what?" He smirks as she frowns and points to the book in Bens hands.

"For getting the book for me?"

He chuckles and removes his hand from her waist, "who says I'm giving the book to you? I wanted you to pick a good book for me to read."

"What? I saw it first and there's plenty I can pick out but not this one." He jaw drops as she doesn't know if he joking or not.

He brings his face closer to hers and waves the book in the air, "and look who has the book." He taunts her whilst dangling it in front of her.

She tries grabbing it but he brings it up night so it was out of her reach.

"Please can I have it?" She begged as she wanted this book for ages and really wanted to see what the hype was about.

"Fine, let's make a deal?" He suggests it and Sofia thinks about it before nodding her head.

"Anything."

"I'll give you this book, if you go on a date with me." He smiles as he knows that he's won her over.

"Of course." She blushes as he gives her the book and kisses her on the cheek.

She had never fell for someone so fast.
