STRANGE [ben chilwell]

Sofia had booked the time during the World Cup off so she could help Ben with his injury and even though England were no longer in the World Cup, the England players hadn't returned yet as they needed time to process it.

Ben and Sofia were enjoying the time to themselves, when they didn't have to worry about work it gave them a sense of peacefulness and time with each other.

Sofia was still asleep but Ben was wide awake, excited about the day ahead.

He was cuddling Bambi close to his chest but he still couldn't believe how much she had grown since she was born 7 months ago.

"Morning Benny boo." She giggles whilst looking up at her two favourite people next to her.

"Morning sexy." He leaned down and kissed her closely whilst trying not to squish the baby laying on his chest.

"Hello baby girl." Sofia said in a higher pitch voice whilst Ben gave Bambi to her so they could have a morning cuddle.

She held Bambi on her chest as she scooted closer to Ben and laid her head on his bare chest.

Ben chuckled as he felt her breath on his chest before he planted a kiss on the top of her head and rested one of his hands on her arse and the other on top of Bambi.

They lay with each other with awhile before Bens phone pings.

It's a message but when Ben answers it, he doesn't allow Sofia to see his screen which he usually does.

"Why are you hiding your screen from me?" She sits up and immediately thinks the worst situation possible.

"I'm messaging mason, you just can't see what we're talking about as it's a surprise." Sofia wants to believe him but her head just won't let her.

"Sureeeee." She grabs Bambi and storms out the room, having no clue where she's going.

"Fia, come back." He follows her out, chasing her as he knows what she thought but it was in fact the complete opposite. "Fia, wait!"

"Why? Why should i?" She threw her arms around as she just wanted to be happy and thought she was but maybe not.

"Because I have a surprise for you today. Mason is helping set it up, please just give me today and if I don't prove it then you can walk away." Ben would get on his knees and beg if he needed to.

He loved Sofia with all his heart.

"Ok." She took a deep breath and went back to the room but being distant from him.

Her head was telling her to run but her heart trusted ben so she she stay even if she was being cautious.

Sofia had been weary the entire day and Ben understood why but he hated every moment but he knew that it would all be worth it.

He had told her to wear something nice and to not worry about Bambi as Mason and Finn were going to look after her.

Sofia decided to wear a pair of black mom jeans with rips in but dressed them up but wearing a corset top and a bomber jacket but didn't properly wear it, it was just placed on her shoulders to pull the outfit together.

She wore a pair of white black heels and curled her hair even if it was possibly the last time she would dress up for Ben.

"Are you ready?" She nodded her head before kissing Bambi goodbye and leaving with Ben, unconsciously holding his hand.

After half an hour they had arrived at their destination, he had drove them to a nice secluded place where no one else was so it was just the two of them which was perfect for the occasion.

As they got out the car, she saw a path of white roses on the floor which led to a table with a white cloth draped over and a single rose in the middle.

"What is all this?" She giggles but she couldn't help feel guilty about not trusting him.

"This is all for you. I was making sure mason got white roses this morning but if you saw that your head would go straight to where it went anyways."

"And I'm sorry about that, I just really thought the worst." She felt guilty so Ben help her close to him and made sure she could hear his heart beating which calmed her down.

"Let's drink." They sat down and engaged in conversation before Ben grabbed Sofias hands over the table and took a deep breath.

"I first met you 10 months ago and my life has changed dramatically since then. We've had our ups and down when one of us has messed up but the universe always threw us back together like we are meant to be and that's because your my soulmate." Sofia was almost dying in her seat as the butterflies drowned in her stomach. "I remember when it all started and we had our first semi date, it wasn't much but your smile told me different as if I stopped the whole world. No matter what we did, I felt like the luckiest man alive to stand by you and still do. I love hearing your laugh when I do some embarrassing. I love you forever and always. So, Sofia Brown, I do have one question for you..."

Ben stood up, moved to beside her, knelt on one knee and said, "Will you make me the happiest man in the world and become Sofia Chilwell?"

Sofia was shaking and was speechless after the amazing speech he just put together.

She stood up as Ben did the same, hugged him as tight as possible and smiled before nodding her head.

He slipped the engagement ring in her finger and kisses her deeply.

"I also have something to say to you," she took a deep breath before she told him the news. "I'm pregnant."

Ben stumbled back before launching back at her and lifted her up to spin her round.

"I couldn't be happier than this moment." He kisses her again before they stood in each others embrace.

Nothing could get better than this moment but I could get a whole lot worse...
