STRANGE [ben chilwell]

It had been just over a week since Ben pulled his hamstring and found out that he was unable to go to the World Cup.

He had been down in the dumps but he was getting there, slowly but surely.

Bens heart shattered into pieces when he found that he had no chance of going to the World Cup but Sofia was right there, supporting him.

Sofia was currently getting ready for work whilst Ben was still sleeping but she had accidentally woke him up.

"Morning fia." She for butterflies at the new nickname Ben had for her.

"Morning, sorry did I wake you?" He shook his head even though she did because she didn't want her to know that. "Oh good." She leans down and kisses him before finishing her hair.

She had decided to put it in a claw clip as it was a mess and she had slept in so she didn't have time to properly do her hair.

"You look gorgeous." Ben said as his eyes followed her around their room, stressing as she didn't have a lot of time to get ready. "And stop stressing."

She takes a deep breath before grabbing her bag and kissing both Ben and Bambi goodbye.

Ben watched her leave the room before checking on Bambi who was fast asleep and then he got back into bed and closed his eyes again, letting sleep take over him.

Ben had been bored out his mind in the past few days after the doctors prescribed rest so that his hamstring could rest.

He had to have a few sessions of physiotherapy before he could start building his strength back up again.

Ben was currently playing fifa whilst Sofias at work taking and uploading photos for Chelsea's instagram.

Bambi had woken up from her nap around half an hour ago and was now playing in her baby bouncer.

Whilst FIFA was loading up, Ben got his controller and gave it to Bambi for her to play with.

She was pressing the buttons and engaging with it so Ben got his phone and took a picture to send to Sofia.

Ben put his phone down, took his controller from Bambi, gave her a toy to play with instead so she didn't start crying, and began to play his game.

About an hour later, the front door opened and Sofia called through the apartment but ben didn't hear her as he had his headset on.

She made her way to their bedroom and when Bambi saw her, a massive smile appeared on her face and made her giggle.

This sound caught bens attention and when he saw his girlfriend, he took his headset off and opened his arms for Sofia to hug him.

"Hey." She smiled, took her hair out of her hair clip to let it do what it wants and then hugged him before straddling his lap but also being careful of his injury. 

"Well hello there." He chuckled as his hands went underneath her arse to lift her up slightly, to adjust himself and squeeze her arse.

"I'd love to but bambi is right there." She pulls herself away from him as he groans but agrees with her.

They wouldn't want to traumatise their baby.

She got off his lap and went over to say hello bambi, "Hello baby girl." She kissed her cheek as he pulled her up out of her bouncer and held her close to her chest. "You may want to deal with your um-" She giggled whilst gesturing to the tighter section of bens shorts.

He chuckles and smirks as Sofia smirks at him and winks before walking out of the room to give him time to sort himself.

A few minutes later, Ben comes through to the living room with his crutches as the doctors don't want him to put pressure onto his leg.

"Your such a tease." He shakes his head as she blows a kiss and winks which just teases him more. "Anything happen at work?"

"Omg yes!" She gasps and puts Bambi in her Moses basket that doesn't leave the floor to ensure it doesn't break whilst Ben situates himself on the sofa.

"Tell me."

"All the boys who are playing for their countries found out and they were all excited." She smiled out of excitement but Ben just sighed.

It hurt to know that he couldn't go to the World Cup and now Sofia had just rubbed it in.

"Shit, I'm so sorry." She gasped once she realised what she had said.

"It's cool." Ben stood up and walked away from Sofia as he was hurt that she did that.

Sofia knew it was now her turn to make up for the mistakes.

She felt simply awful.
