Amy walked along the shady path with blaze, Rouge and Cream. It was a warm Summer day; Amy's birthday, and they were going to meet the boys at the beach so they could go swimming. Amy wore her new red one bikini and was excited to see her Sonics reaction.
"I just love the beach!" Squealed Cream as she skipped a few steps, her eyes shimmering with excitement.
"Same here" laughed Rouge as she watched the silly bunny run ahead and do a cart wheel.

"But my flames won't work good until I dry off" said Blaze as she spawned a small ember flame in her hand.
"It's not like we're on our way to destroy Eggman" chuckled Amy.
"Has anyone seen Sally?" Asked Cream as she stopped to let the crowed catch up. They all shook their heads.
"No, I haven't" said Rouge.
"Amy, you remembered to invite her, right?" Asked Blaze as she stopped suddenly.

The crowed stopped and Amy looked down at the ground, shuffling her feet. She could feel their eyes on her. She had not invited Sally. She always took Sonics attention and love, leaving nothing for her.
"I forgot" lied Amy. Rouge smiled and Blaze rolled her eyes.
"I like your style" cooed Rouge.
"But Amy, now think, Sally's probably there already. With Sonic" Blaze pointed out.

"Thats right" agreed Cream. "He probably invited her himself!"
A pit formed in Amy's stomach. She pushed it away. Everything was fine. Nothing back could happen on a birthday.

"Okay!" Said Amy as she continued walking past the group. Confused expression were on their faces as they watched the pink birthday girl carry on with complete happiness. They caught up and looked at Amy, scanning for any hidden emotion.

"Really? Are you ok, hun? Did you get sick?" Asked Rouge as she felt her forehead.
"No, I'm fine" laughed Amy as she removed the bats hand from her.
Rouge looked concerning at her then nodded.
"We're here!" Exclaimed Cream as she ran ahead and burst through the trees.
"Party time! Declared Blaze as she ran ahead with Cream.

"Come on, Amy!" Yelled Rouge as she ran up ahead too. Amy smiled, but suddenly felt eerie. Was someone watching her? She looked around and shrugged it off, running to catch up with the girls.

Amy's POV

I could have sworn someone was there. But it didn't matter; I was going to see my Soniku! I wanted to look my best, but it was hard to when I'm being compared to miss princess Sally Acorn. I burst trough the tree line, just a yard behind my friends.
"Happy Birthday!" Yelled the familiar voices of my everyone.

I turned to see Silver, Knuckles and Tails standing by a long table with different types of desserts... but where was my Soniku?
"Thank you so much!" I said as I managed to hug all of them at once.
"No problem, Amy!" Said Tails as he gave a big smile.

I looked past them to see Sonic sitting on a blue towel in the shade of an umbrella. He sat there with another person. A brown chipmunk with red tinted hair and a dark blue bikini.
Sally Acorn. The lovely girl sat next to my precious Sonic, whom seemed to be laughing and enjoying her company.
My stomach flopped.

"Um... Amy?" Asked Silver as he set a hand on my shoulder.
"Oh! Sorry! I'm fine, I'm fine."
"Sonic! Get over here you lazy blur" yelled Knuckles. Sonic rolled his eyes and got up with Sally.
"I see your ready to go swimming?" Asked Knuckles. I snapped my attention to the red Echidna and nodded. "Yeah. And what are we waiting for? I bet the waters warm!"

With that, I ran into the water along with Rouge and Cream, and then a hesitant Blaze. The boys came in as a group, except for Sonic, whom stayed behind. I was fortunate to see that Sally had left the side of my handsome blue hero and had decided to join the party fun.

After swimming and splashing wars, we ate many foods that Creams mom had baked for us. I changed into my red dress and happily ate.
The only thing Sonic participated in was eating food. I walked over to Sonic, seeing he was alone and without Sally.

"Hi Sonic!" I said as I jumped beside him.
"Hey, Ames!" He said as he waved and shown his signature happy smile. "Like the food? Creams mom made it!" I said as I was about to bite my cupcake that I was holding.
"Ya, she's good at baking" he answered. He seemed to be looking passed me.
The sun was setting and I grabbed his hand. "Sonic... I have something to tell you" I said quietly.

"Amy I know you like me" he said as he rolled his eyes.
"You do?" I asked, my spirits suddenly high.
"But I can't be with you" he continued.
I smiled.
"You always say that, Sonikku" I laughed as I latched onto his arm.
"Amy no" he disciplined as he ran from my grasp.

He was heading for the forest that they were always saying not to go in because of all the bad guys there.
I smiled. Sonic, you were a challenge.
I sprinted after him as fast as I could carry myself. "Sonikku come back here!" I shouted. I could hear my friends giggle.
"There goes Amy again!" Laughed Rouge.

I ignored the out burst that I gave my friends and ran after my blur.
I burst through the tree line and into the dark forest. Sonic was taking many twists and turns until I barely knew where I was going.
It was kind of scary.
