Episde 15: deal making

-days after lavenders death-

Josh was standing over her grave with his hands in his pockets "I'm sorry I failed you kiddo I wish I could have saved you in time I'm the worst father and I'm sorry..." josh said wiping tears away "but you are with grandpa Tommy now he'll take good care of you up there and I'll see you again one day" josh said hearing someone walk up behind him, he pulled out his revolver and aimed it at the stranger "are you Joshua vercetti?" The man asked.
"I was sent here by my boss to inform you that he wants your head for killing his brother Lee but he does not want bloodshed now, what he wants from you is you to be his slave doing his dirty work for him if you do so he'll let you live" the man said "go to hell" josh said as the man nodded and left.

-one year later-

Derrick was on his sovereign waiting for the president of the marauders to show up, after a few he eventually showed up "what this meeting you wanted mr VP" the president said "we're gonna be about two days behind on your shipment Santiago" Derrick said "can I know why vercetti?" Santiago asked "with josh still MIA some of our prospects up and left so my road captain and my Sargent at arms are working overtime to finish the shipment" Derrick explained "ah I understand it's all good I can wait a few days I hope the prez appears again" Santiago said "thanks" Derrick said "no problem homes I'll see you soon" Santiago said and drove off Derrick decided to head back to the club house.

Josh was sitting on the roof of a building he had grown a beard and had a scar on his right eye he was holding a sniper out looking around the area trying to find his target once he found his target he picked up the radio "eyes on the target Roman" josh said "good take that nigga out" Pearce replied as josh shoots the target in the head hearing people scream.
Josh hears his phone going off as he picks it up seeing that Nicole was trying to call him but he ignores it and slides his phone back into his pocket.
Joshs expression hasn't changed his expression was deep depression and numb inside. Josh grabs his biker jacket and puts it back on climbing off the building as he walked to the bike and drove off to a small cabin in the woods where he lived alone.
He walked into the house seeing Derrick looking around "so this is where you've been brother took me a while to find you" Derrick said as josh sighed and set his sniper down "why are you here?" Josh asked "the MC needs their prez the club is falling apart more prospects left" Derrick said "then why don't you take the president position" josh took off his jacket and handed it over to Derrick.
"I don't want that position it was your dream to be a prez for an mc not Mine all I cared about is being your right hand man your partner and you my right hand and partner we are in this together"Derrick said "that dream was buried with my daughter a year ago" josh said "suck it up and come back your wife is expecting to give birth to your twins any day now grow a pair of balls and go back, dad wouldn't want you to abandon the rest of your family!" Derrick shouted.
"What do you know huh?!? You don't know what it's like to lose a part of you!" Josh shouted back "no I may not have had a child who I lost but that doesn't mean I don't know the feeling" Derrick said and stormed off.
