Soyeon and Minnie both paced around the empty roads dully, Soyeon couldn't help herself but sniffled a few times as they were mindlessly walking on the asphalt. The prints of blood trailed Minnie as she advanced toward the emptiness and into the abandoned site.
"We have to find Miyeon now, we already...we already lost Soojin..." She coughed, trying to ignore the building lump in her throat. Now was definitely not the great time, Minnie thought as she traced the tip of the machete against the dark asphalt. The light scratch caused Soyeon to glance up. Drops of tears dripped against the ground.
"Let's go, we can't lose anyone else." Soyeon said, firmly believing her statement. They both rushed toward the abandoned hospital, one they hadn't been able to enter earlier. "Should we just go in? Or use the back doors?"
"Back doors." Minnie ordered, scanning the chalky glass as they traced the building for an emergency exit of some sort. Fortunately, there was a broken exit door. The door fell from its hinge. "C'mon!" Minnie gestured toward the open door frame. Creeping in slowly, the vials of antidotes for flus and colds scattered across the tiled floors. The tiles were no longer sleek and were soiled. Syringes laid unexpectedly on the blackened hospital bed sheets.
"That's weird," Soyeon whispered, "I don't see any zombies."
"Euhm.." Minnie nodded in agreement as they crept past the lifeless hospital rooms. Nothing suspicious caught their eyes. "I thought Miyeon would end up here.." Minnie mumbled, sorting her thoughts out more neatly in her head than before. Clearly, she had already mapped the possible locations and this was the most likely...Unless she, no. No way. Never. Minnie threw the intrusive thoughts away. Think positive. She encouraged herself.
"I suppose we can go up a floor?" Soyeon suggested, her finger indicating the broken staircase. "I mean we could try..." She whispered, moving toward the reeking stairs. One step before another, they climbed up reaching another series of abandoned hospital rooms. Huh, Soyeon thought as she moved toward a room, the door revealing cracks of light shining through. Over here! She gestured toward the door and pressed her ear against it.
"What should we do with her? She's taking the chemicals really well for someone so weak." A gruff, manly voice stated, glass clinked against one another as they could hear liquid being poured into a beaker.
"Maybe we can test the tube with the rupture liquid."
"Yes, that." A groan cut off the two masculine voices. "Oh, you woke up. Don't worry, you're going to get some rest soon." A loud crash erupted from the room as the huddled girls could see blood spray through the cracks of the door. The bang created a louder echo as it continued to repeat.
"What are you doing now, huh? Not even screaming anymore. That's a good girl." The deeper voice was filled with pride.
"I'm going in, I can't take it anymore." Minnie growled, gripping the machete tighter than ever.
"But, you don't know how many people are there!" Soyeon warned, she pressed forward against the door to listen for more voices. But, the two same masculine voices keep on taunting, repeating, the never-ending cycle of their voices laughing their demonic laugh. "I think there's only two.." Soyeon murmured. But the door flung open and Minnie charged in. The door clattered against the walls.
"STOP ALREADY!" Minnie screamed as she slung her blade toward the two men. They both held a baton each, swinging it against a small pale body coated in blood.
"She thinks she's st–" The man was cut off as Minnie carelessly stabbed into his stomach, rich red blood pouring out greedily as the man clutched his stomach and dropped to the floor. She pivoted and did the same to the other man, not caring about her sanity.
"Unnie!" Soyeon screamed as she grabbed the shaking girl. "I'm sorry!" She mumbled quickly to the two men, their blood pouring out and stained their dirty white shirts. "Go get Miyeon, we're leaving." She snarled. Minnie nodded her head and quickly unstrapped Miyeon from the blood-stained bed, and carried her bridal style. The warmth of the flowing blood coated Minnie's sweater but she didn't care.
"Let's go already." Minnie commanded as they both ran away from the horrifying hospital, once again.

"Miyeon. Miyeon. Wake up." Minnie pleaded as she set the limp girl on the patchy grass. Miyeon's chest moved at an uneven pace as she fluttered her eyes slowly and painfully moved her head towards Minnie who was resting her on her laps.
"M-minnie," She rasped, weakening, creasing her lips into a warm smile. "It was nice knowing you." Her head dropped down and blood trickled from her mouth to her chin. Minnie cried as she leaned forward hugging the girl close.
"Please, we can't lose another person." Her tears spilled fast as she held the girl close to her heart. The pain as she had to lose someone she cared about, someone she loved. Soyeon coughed, her eyes watering as she dabbed them carelessly away.
"W-we..we have to go now..Best to leave her behind.." Soyeon whispered, glancing around the field.

"Hey, why are you both alone?" Yuqi questioned, peeking around Soyeon and Minnie. Their bodies both glazed with shiny blood.
"They're gone.." Soyeon mumbled, leaning over to hug the girl. "They won't be back..ever..." She mumbled. Yuqi's eyes watered but she blinked them back rapidly.
"We have to go soon, or all of us won't survive."
