The booming rattle of metal erupted from outside. Sounds of loud stomping crescendoed, each step increased as a marcato. The rattling started to become more fast, more powerful.
"OPEN UP! COME OUT!" A deep masculine voice ordered, the rattle didn't stop. Groaning started to be heard, as the sound of swift slicing. The groaning started to become louder, filled with more desire. The fences shook faster and a loud thud collapsed the wiring. The metal pole crashed down, sending bits of dirt into the air. "THAT'S IT!" The masculine voice was heard again. A swift of the thin metal sliced the wooden door.
"Anyone here? Come out!" The shorter man came near the door, the two of them held swords and guns hung from their belts. A thundering bang surprised both of the men, one of them fumbled the gun and shot at the sound. Chips of broken fragments laid on the ground, dry soil spilling all over. There, laid a rose and a note.
'나는 당신을 영원히 사랑합니다, 나의 달콤한 작은 장미. ~엄마'
They both looked at each other, the note smeared with trickles of blood. A soft thud took their attention. The taller man snickered, pulling his gun closer. He flicked the safety off and aimed it closely near the doorway.
"Guess we got lucky today."

Walking, walking, walking. Shuhua was going to get bored out of her mind. Nowhere was safe, seriously, they had been driven out of their homes like 3 times already.
"Where are we even going, Yuqi-unnie?" This question was pasted into Shuhua's mind for the last hour. Lingering, long waiting for an answer. She patiently waited, at least. "Yuqi-unnie?" Shuhua glanced at the tired girl. Yuqi's honey hair was disheveled, her clothes crumbled in a mess. They haven't eaten anything for days. Soojin kept watch, her machete still in one piece. She wiped the little blood stain from the tip with her sleeve.
"There's nothing for now." Soojin observed, "But I'll keep watching." Her penetrating eyes warned everyone to keep watch. Walking for more miles, their energy was draining fast. Minnie's stomach started to growl loudly. She giggled nervously while ricochetting her sight to the surrounding.
"Are we there yet?" Soyeon started to whine, she and Shuhua both protested in unison. "Yuqi(-unnie)! Where are we going?" The short girl made eye contact with the sleep-deprived Yuqi. Her puffy eyes tried to stay open as they were walking in the middle of nowhere. Where the hell are we anyways? Yuqi thought, the endless walking. This place was not familiar. It was too deserted, way too quiet. The hot sun burned against their skin. The chunky soil, all cakey with a dirty yellow. No vegetation, not even a single sight of wildlife.
"Hey! Hey!" Minnie shouted out of the blue. She caught Miyeon's swaying body. Her eyes were half-closed, she was very pale. Too pale. "Get it together!" Minnie slapped Miyeon's cheek, desperate to wake her up. Miyeon stayed unresponsive, leaning limp on Minnie. "Aish!"
"Feel her pulse!" Yuqi rushed to grab the small wrist of Miyeon. A soft, yet, weak pulse. At least she knows that Miyeon is still alive.
"Oh my gosh! You can tal–" Soyeon started, smirking at Yuqi.
"Not the time," Shuhua interrupted, she glanced at the pale girl with worry. Yuqi started to press a palm on Miyeon's pale forehead. She felt warmth, the regular temperature for a living body.
"Hey, Miyeon-unnie." Yuqi gently nudged the edge of Miyeon's head. "From her level of unresponsiveness," Yuqi started as Shuhua let out a heavy sigh. "I believe that Miyeon-unnie fainted due to her hunger." She started to pace nervously around the dustiness. "We can't just leave her or stay here forever."
"Yeah," Minnie agreed, she stared at the unconscious girl. Her pale figure, the closed eyes. Minnie started to pull the girl upward and onto her back. "We can go now." She mumbled, feeling the warmth on her back. "It's not like you can carry her anyways." Minnie said to no one in particular. Soojin and Shuhua just stared at the girl in agape.
"That's new," was all Shuhua could muster.

Minnie heaved, she bounced Miyeon up as she was sliding down. Her strength was slowly draining.
"Hrmmm.." Miyeon mumbled, painfully. She started to twist and move against Minnie's craned back. Minnie stroked the girl's hair off to the side and twisted her head. Dang, that's too close..Minnie flushed a tint of pink, she could feel the hot warm breath against her rosy cheeks.
"Already up, princess? My back's going to break." Minnie joked as Miyeon still laid limp on her back.
"Where are we," Miyeon's voice rasped. She rested her head against Minnie's warm back.
"Some abandoned shelter." Yuqi replied, muttering a short string of curses after. She kicked a piece of wood away from the rocks, scattering about a few feet away. Bits of dust flew after the wood. "But," Yuqi smiled brightly, hands tucking behind her back. "We found some food!" She beamed. Hands reveal a bag of old bread. The bread was crusty and hard. At least still edible. "Eat up, you must be hungry." She handed the divided pieces of bread to Minnie and Miyeon.
"THERE'S NOTHING!" Soyeon shouted, panting as she rested her arms on her legs. "WE CHECKED AROUND AND THERE'S NOTHING."
"No," Soojin grabbed Soyeon near her. "There's zombies."
