I took a right turn to a less crowded street before I got the chance to answer Anna. "You are speaking with Drew Mercado, baka nalilimutan mo. Need I say more to justify my decisions?"
"Ikaw lang ang inaalala ko. Delikado yang binabalak mo."
I suppressed a laugh. Personal clown ko talaga 'tong babaeng 'to. "I am just attending a business meeting. Anong delikado dun?"
"What if makita ka ni Sofia?"
Ohh. I get it. Akala ko my secretary's just want to have me sleazing all day, hindi pala. Concern pala siya. Aww. Flattering. Touching. So cute!

Nakarinig ako ng isang malalim na hininga. Aww. Anna's really worried. "Fine. Just text me kapag may mangyari ha?"

Oh, I know you are quite confused with how the talk went through. Hindi ko naman masisisi si Anna, she's just being my ever loving bestfriend. Of course, she is concerned.
I understand her concern, because what I will be doing is quite reckless.
I will be setting foot on his base. And that's violating one of my self made rules for being the perfect mistress.

Yeah, again, this a command from Mom. She received daw kasi a business merge offer from the Agoncillo's. This is to pertain about our telecommunication business wgich we are competing with the Agoncillo's for the top spot. By their words, since we can't beat each other daw, bakit hindi na lang namin pag-samahin yung lakas namin and be the most powerful telco in the country. Malamang naman sa ganda ng tunog ng offer nila, tanga na ni Mom kung hindi niya pag-aaralan yan.
So that's where my part goes, I will be the one to face them. I will be the one that they should convince.
Right after parking my car, I first examined how I look. Hmm. Medyo kulang sa intensity ang labi ko, might as well refresh my lips.
When I felt satisfied, I graciously clambered my way out of my car and walked my way to the elevtator. Swerte't nasa parking floor yung elevator so I don't need to wait.
After getting out of the lift, I strutted my way towards the space. I kept myself from grinning inwardly when I saw my welcoming banner. Seriously? Tsk.
Agad akong nakilala nung receptionist, she paid respects and told me na papunta na yung mga boss niya. I nodded for acknowledgement.
"Welcome!" five guys in black suits chorused upon seeing me. Gumanti din ako ng bati.
One of the five guys walked his way up to me then extended his hand. "Welcome to AGC. I am the president, Joshua Agoncillo."
I smiled at him. Shit. Ang galing umarte ng lalaking ito, kahit ako madadalang hindi niya talaga ako kilala eh. But then I knew better, so dapat ko na ring ilabas ang aking acting prowess.
"Nice of you to welcome me personally, Mr. President." pakikipagkamay ko sa kanya. Right after that humarap ako sa iba pa niyang mga kasama. "You must know me, Drew Mercado of Mercado Holdings. Just drop the salutations and just call me Drew."
