"So, how are things going with you and that guy, Hero?" I gave her my are-you-serious look when I saw her stifle a giggle. She acted like she was a freshman in highschool who saw her bestfriend makeout with the varsity of the basketball team. She sounded like a fan girl and that is not okay kasi we are old enough na to not do that.
Sofia and I are at this Vietnamese restaurant, enjoying the best Pho in the country, while obviously talking about mundane stuff. This angel in disguise invited me for lunch as a way of showing gratitude dahil nga raw tinulungan ko siya with her Joshua situation the last time.
Yep, that situation where the night ended with me sucking the semen out of Joshua. That situation. And please, please remember that because I am growing tired of having to repeat myself over and over again!
Kaya nga I initially told her na there's no need for the lunch out kasi I was willing naman to do it and hindi naman niya ako finorce or anything. Plus pa the secret fact that I had oral sex with her man while she's driving. But Sofia being her usual self, didn't take no as an answer. She went to my office and basically dragged me out so that we could eat here.
I acted like I didn't hear anything and so I continued enjoying my pho. "Hey, come on! Tell me something naman about you two! Is he nanliligaw or kayo na? You know, people told me that he's a good guy so I think he's good for you."
"Why is Hero a good guy good for me?" I know what she meant when she said it and I really have no issues about it but sometimes it really is just good to make Sofia uncomfortable like how she is now when she saw how high my left eyebrow was when I asked the question.
Sofia's cheeks looked as if it was slapped by tomato paste or something kasi it's super pula as she tries to get answer that would appease me. "Erm, I mean, what I mean is that it's good for the both of you. Yeah, that's what I mean, it's good for the both of you!"
"There's really nothing to tell, Sofia. Everything is going fine between Hero and I."
"You say that and I get it but kayo na ba?" She continued.
"You are too interested with my lovelife, why is that?" She giggled again, like a fangirl, before shrugging her shoulders. "Whatever is going on between Hero and I, they're okay. We are taking our time as we get to know each other. Everything is being taken at one step at a time."
I said it before that this is the first time I have experienced whatever this is that I am doing with Hero kasi I really didn't have time back then to entertain men as I was busy with a myriad of things and when I got the time naman to go out there and explore the world of dating, I got connected with Joshua naman. And we all know my connection with Joshua, it is purely physical and sexual. Anyways, my connection with Joshua was enough for me to not go out and date with anyone. I mean, with Joshua kasi, I no longer have to be awkward and pretend and all those mushy stuff since we do not do that.
In all honesty, I am kind of liking whatever this is that I am experiencing. I mean, ever since I was a kid, I have been living in such a fast-paced environment na ang bilis ng turn over, ang bilis ng lahat ng nangyayari. Even how things started with Joshua was fast. One moment we were just being introduced to each other and then the next moment, we were sucking the saliva out of each other. Lahat mabilis and so it is kind of a breath of fresh air na there's something that's happening that's taking its time. I don't know and I cannot really put into words how I am liking our setup but I really do like it so let's leave things at that.
