Oh cool, it took him a day before reacting, in fairness. I thought the moment he stumbles into the news, he'd get me fetched right away. I guess I'd overestimated him.
"I'm not sure that I'll do that, Anna."
Anna stared at me as if I'm someone who lost his sanity and is just fooling around but when she noticed that bluffing is not part of my agenda, she locked her phone up and sighed. "We're on the same boat, then. I am also not sure of what you are doing. Gumagawa ka ng gulo."
I placed my Versace's degrade boucle pencil coat on my shoulder before I started making my way out of my office. "I'm quite related to Harry Potter for we are the same that is being sought by trouble, I can't do anything to avoid that."

"Next week?!" Sigh. Why do this two representatives of Pearl Leisure over reacts? I mean, they are courting my company for an investment so what's bad with asking them to present a study by next week? Tsk. "We would need to have at least a month for that, Miss. Can you give us more time?"
I didn't respond to their reaction, I kept with my act of being into the project they are offering as I scan through their proposal. "It's always sooner the better, right? The persistence of your company would shine through if you're able to meet my deadline."
This is an unsolicited tip, if you want to be the best entrepreneur in the country, you need to learn to pressure your people. Crunch their time. It is at this moment that your people will show their true potential. It is at that moment that you'll know who to rely on. Though toxic, pressure molds people to be at their best at the least amount of time possible. A practice of efficiency.
For the sake of transparency, I'm not really interested in the partnership Pearl Leisure is offering. It is quite apparent naman kasi that more than us, mas beneficial sa kanila ang deal na ito. The two week deadline that I gave them is a test, I can't let them think that partnering with me would be easy. Being partners with my company isn't just pure bliss, you'd really need to work hard to reap great results.
The two representatives tried haggling with me regarding the deadline for the study, they tried persuading me but they sure know it's failing.
"I believe your meeting with Drew ends at this very moment, gentlemen."
Three heads looked up at once when we heard the voice that interrupted us. Our eyes laid up on the formal looking Joshua Agoncillo.
I did not expect to see him here. I never reciprocated any forms of communication Joshua initiated kasi and I instructed Anna not to tell my whereabouts as well but I guess it slipped on my mind that this guy is impeccable at the game of tracking. Well, I'm down with two theories. Either Anna sold me out dahil ayaw niyang gumawa pa ako ng more gulo or Joshua is just really good at it.
"B-but we still have matters to talk about." The clearing of the throat by one of the two men I am with didn't go unnoticed, Joshua is indeed a breathing intimidation.

"You need not drag me like I'm a lost five year old kid, you know." I managed to voice out my irritation after a while of being dragged over rows of dining tables. Feeling ko, akala niya okay lang sa'kin yung kinakaladkad eh. He paid no attention to my mumblings though, tuloy tuloy lang siya sa ginagawa nya.
He dragged me over hanggang sa huminto kami sa elevator. Joshua didn't mind the queue of people waiting to be lifted by the elevator. As soon as the doors opened, he shoved everyone out of the way as he pushes me to get inside. The doors closed as I see the mixed reactions of the people we bypassed.
"Do you find my annoyance very entertaining, Drew? You are consistent in doing that." As normal with Joshua, he makes me feel as if I'm a target of either shooting, archery, or darts. His glares could really kill me if it can, I might just drop dead here. Lucky that he is no mutant.
I held Joshua's hand, not because I want to or I want to be affectionate but because he might just hit me. I can't afford to have bruises over my gorgeous face. "Joshua, you're making a mountain out of just a molehill. Can you just be more rational?"
"You are saying that I'm making this a big deal?" Uh oh, wrong move yata ang pag-hawak ko dito sa kasama ko. He's holding me as if he plans to dislocate my bones or something. "It's already a big deal Drew! Have you seen the news?! That photo has launched millions of mouths and we both know that that's not a good thing."
I turned his hold to my advantage, I pinned him to the corner as I started caressing his face sensually. "Who told you that it's a bad thing? On the contrary, it's the best thing that had happened."
He started looking at me differently. His then furious eyes now shows curiosity, interest and a hint of lust presumably because of my touches. He was silent though, the kind of silence that urges to explain.
"If I am being linked to someone, if the people thinks that I am hanging out with Hero, would the people give malice on the amount of time we are being seen together? Do you think people would care?"
There were a few instances in the past where I've overheard people from Joshua's company about the time we are spending together. The issue just dies down since Joshua's with Sofia and I am a potential business partner. And I can't let issues like that to continue. If this didn't happen, the issue between us will keep on resurfacing and will just blow up under our noses.
"Now that we're both committed, sino pang mag-iisip that we are doing dirty things behind your woman? We're totally safe now, the news sealed our secret down."
Joshua seemed to ponder on my words, he appeared to be weighing on the advantage of the very thing that gets annoyed. I hope he realizes that this is a win-win situation right here, nothing to get grumpy with.
He didn't say anything, he instead went closer to the elevator buttons and hit on one of them. The button made the mechanism stop.
"Fine. But for now, let's practice that possession I have over you."
Sinubukan kong pigilan yung pagtatanggal ni Joshua ng polo niya but he just swatted my hand away like it's a fly. "The CCTV is running, you dimwit! Calm your penis 'til we get into a room!"
"Who told you that it's running?" He breathed into my neck that makes me shiver, that instantly ignited my core. He was right, the red light of the recording device is off signalling that the thing is not running. "When I say I want you here, I say I want you here."
