After they both had a talk with Jisungs mom, Seungmin bid his goodbyes to the family before heading home. Listening to Jisungs story created confusion in Seungmins mind since he knew something was off.

Why was Minho taking things quickly with Jisung?

That's when it hit him. The conversation he had heard before between Chris and Hyunjin. Seungmin however is crushing on the gang leader Hwang Hyunjin, though he never wanted to admit that to himself. He knew that there was no way to get closer to the older, to which he took up stalking Hyunjin from a distance in order to feed his heart that was clinging for Hyunjins. He knew almost everything about the gang although he acted clueless, knowing that he'd get both him and Jisung in trouble. The gang would always pick on those closest to you even when they are not at fault. With that Seungmin started playing today's conversation in his head trying to find what was so off about it-

Flashback

"Chris listen, I know he's your relative but are you sure he's the right choice?"

"Hyunjin, trust me he is. I don't think anyone can fulfill that duty other than him."

"And just how much longer do we have to wait for him to join us? It's been two weeks Chris. You know I'm not happy about him joining so why are you making us wait this long? Changbin is injured so there's no way that he can participate in the fight yet we need someone strong. It's TXT we are talking about here, and you know what they have done to my sister. I can't let that happen again."

"I know, I'm sorry. He just wants to win that little guys heart before joining."

"You mean to tell me that he wants to have a love affair before joining?! Do you want us to have a scandal here?!"

"No, of course not. I told him to do it secretly, when it's done he could join."

"He better be finished after our camp that's in three months. Otherwise we are dropping him for Choi San."

"Of course, I'll be aware of that."

"Don't tell him anything yet, let him have his fun. After all, his fun will be over the second he joins the gang. We are no play, we are a real deal and you know it."

"I'm sorry Hyunjin, he's my relative and I don't want to break his heart."

"Since I respect you I'll be the one doing it for you when the time comes. Beware, we only have four months to prepare. The only reason why I wanted him to join now is because a month is not enough for him."

Little guy, TXT gang... It all made sense now. Minho is joining SKZ?! Seungmin started to panic, his best friend was about to get his heart broken in a few months and he was the only one who could do something about it. But how, how does he tell his best friend to just avoid Minho? There's no way he could without telling him the truth. This whole situation gave Seungmin a headache. It bothered him how he didn't know what Hyunjins gang had to do with TXT to which he was eager to find out. He had to protect Jisung while gathering more information which was already a hard enough task for the older.

Why do I have to be the smart one in this friendship?
