His Sweet Taste || Seungjin

Hyunjins mind kept drifting towards the thought of Seungmin. The way he bravely got up to defend the nerd he calls "best friend" really intrigued Hyunjin. He was surprised though in a positive manner. He was wondering what else Seungmin was capable of, and he'd lie if he were to say that Seungmins action wasn't attractive to him. Before Hyunjin could escape his thoughts the bell beat him to it.

"Ayee, everyone here!" - Jeongin signaled with his hand

"Thank God class is over, I was about to collapse from boredom." - said Felix earning a chuckle from Jisung

"Are you alright Ji? You seem a bit anxious."

"I am Lix, thank you for asking."

"Sorry for arriving late guys, Mrs Rosie made us stay a bit longer." - said Chris while panting together with Changbin

"Changbin, are you coming with us?" - said Hyunjin walking up behind them startling poor Jisung

"Sorry Hyun, I would love to but I have already arranged a meeting at a hotel. Mind telling me how it goes when y'all finish?"

"Of course Changbin, thank you for your time. Hope it all goes well for you." - Hyunjin said as they bid their goodbyes to Changbin

"We should be on our way." - suggested Chris

"I was just about to ask where we should head to?" - Jeongin said

"I was thinking the cat café." - said Minho

"Ooo that's a good idea there Minho! Who knew you and I would agree on something?" - said Felix earning a little smile from Minho

"Hm, doesn't sound like a place to have a business talk in." - said Hyunjin

"Oh come on hyung, just this once?" - said Jeongin with his puppy eyes directed to Hyunjin

"I suppose it wouldn't hurt." - sighed Hyunjin

Jeongin, Felix and Minho cheered together. Jisung still anxious as ever. Chris then wrapped his arm around Jisungs shoulders and said: "Relax little guy, no one will hurt you. I'll make sure of it, just be yourself alright?" Jisung nodded with a smile feeling the tension slowly fading away upon receiving reassurance which he was thankful for.

"Come on, before I change my mind." - said Hyunjin

On their way to the café, they exchanged a few laughs, a few funny stories about each other while Minho kept teasing Jisung in order to get his squirrellike cheeks to blush.

In the café.

"Awh, there's not much space here today." - sighed Jeongin

"Wait Jeongin, there's a free spot over there!" - said Felix all bouncy

They all quickly made their way towards the seat and ordered their drinks.

"My treat." - said Hyunjin while gently raising his hand from the table

"But I was the one who planned the hang out." - said Jeongin dramatically

"And you are also the youngest, take this as a thanks to all of you."

They all smiled at Hyun before getting back to talking. They were all having a good time, their drinks surprisingly better than the last time they visited the cafe. Many cats surrounded Felix and Minho which they didn't seem to mind. One orange cat on Felix's lap and a white cat laying on his shoulders. A black cat laying on Minhos lap while he gently caresses her fur and a few kittens playing with the lases on his shoes. They treated Hyunjin as a person not as a leader, which he seemed to enjoy more than he expected to. Seungmin and Jisung were playing a game on their phones, causing chaos when one would lose and laugh together when they won. Chris tutoring Jeongin in maths since he didn't quite understand the lesson from today... All of this brought a smile to Hyunjins face, he felt happy for the first time in a while.

As Hyunjin was about to take a sip of his coffee a kitten jumped onto his arm making him spill some of his coffee on his pants.

They all gasped while stopping their activities, now looking directly into Hyunjin. They expected an angry Hyunjin getting up to murder the waiter or something but instead he gently put down his cup of coffee and picked up the kitten which was hanging on his arms still. He then put her close to his chest and slowly started caressing her back.

"You were scared weren't you?" - he said while looking at the kitten softly

They all looked at each other and smiled before returning to their previous activities. Meanwhile Seungmin was admiring Hyunjins beauty and gentle gesture towards the kitten. He was mesmerized by it all but before Hyunjin could look up at him, he shook his head and continued to play games with Jisung who was now fighting for his life on there.

Hyunjin put the kitten back onto the ground and said: "I will be off to the bathroom to clean off, when I get back I expect to see all of you prepared for our talk." He then made his way to the bathroom.

"Oh right, I almost forgot what we were all here for." - said Felix frowning at the cats.

I found this chapter really cute when writing it, I hope you have as well. The plot is coming soon and I promise I won't disappoint.
