Third person pov.

Hyunjin grabbed a hold of Seungmins hand holding it in his as he shushed him with his other. "Don't feel guilty for it, I think it's time I tell you the truth anyway."

"You don't have to if you aren't ready-"

"But I want to Seungmin, however I need you to promise me you won't freak out." - said Hyunjin as he cupped Seungmins face in his hands

"I promise."

"Alright." Hyunjin sighed. "Where do I even start from?" He slightly chuckled.

"I wasn't born as an only child as many think. I had a younger sister whose name was Hwang Yeji. She was truly an angel who brought a smile on everyone's faces no matter how down they were. I was very close with her, I spent almost all of my time with her. She was even a part of my friend group back in the day which is now a gang called Stray Kids. Now I know, I shouldn't be revealing the gangs name to you, but I trust you enough. We all lived a pretty easy-going life, sure we still had our gang activities but it wasn't anything serious like it is now. The most we'd do is fight some bad kids in school until they got knocked out. However, that all changed once we made a deal with this gang called TXT. The deal was that they help us execute a mission and we pay them back the same. SKZ and TXT made a really good team, most would've thought we were one gang and not two separate ones. Though, when it was time for us to pay them back, something came up and we couldn't. That something was a sudden attack on our mansion. Somebody intended to kill one of us, and because of that we had to fight back then and there. We couldn't make it to our payback with TXT, which is why they seeked to punish us. At that time, my closest companion San was dating my sister and since him and I were very close the leader of TXT knew that both of our weak spot was my sister, Yeji. When Yeji was still at school, the gang kidnapped her and took her to some abandoned building. The leader of TXT then called me and told me to pay him a visit alone, otherwise he'd kill my sister. I panicked and secretly informed the members where I was going, which I still regret til this day. Once I arrived at the place, I spotted my sister laying on the floor unconscious I panicked once again and rushed to help her until two guards held me back, pushing me to the ground. Moments later the members arrived and I had to watch in horror what they have done to my members. San and his gang ATEEZ showed up to the scene later attacking them." Hyunjin paused, he felt tears in his eyes

"It's okay Jinnie, take a break."

Hyunjin smiled and continued, "However when San finally got a hold of the leader, my childhood friend Beomgyu pushed him off of him which broke my heart. I managed to break myself away from the two guards and grab a hold of Beomgyu. That's when San and the leader continued their fight, the leader had a gun in his hands which San was desperately trying to take away from him. That's until Yeonjun pointed the gun at me, and before I could even react I heard a gunshot. But I wasn't the one who got shot." Hyunjin sighed as a tear ran down his cheek "It was my sister, she protected me. Yeonjun shot her directly in her heart so she had no chance of surviving. In that moment, I felt like my whole world collapsed. Like my whole life flashed in front of my eyes. Because my sister was my life at that time. Police arrived at the scene a few minutes later but TXT escaped. San was having a mental breakdown and so was I." Hyunjin smiled nervously

"I remember grabbing the gun and trying to shoot myself with it only to realize that all of the bullets were used. After that, I felt a part of me tear apart. I was never the same. I used to be the clown of the group, clumsy, affectionate... I lost all of those characteristics. I became someone cold, someone whom everyone was scared of."

"Hyunjin..." - said Seungmin quietly, he couldn't look at the older. Seungmin was crying, he didn't know how tough his boyfriends life was. He underestimated it all. He felt guilty with himself.

"But that isn't all. I'm sure you're wondering how I became the leader right?"

Seungmin nodded, hoping that at least this was a happy story for Hyunjin.

"After what happened in that building, Chris got insecure over his position. He felt like he didn't deserve the title, because he was the one whom they beat up first. He thought that this all happened because he didn't plan the mission correctly, we all kept telling him that it wasn't his fault. He didn't buy it. Instead, he thought that I handled the situation way better than he had. So he gifted me his leaders position saying how I deserved it more than he did. Which I still til this day disagree with. But that's that."

Hyunjin looked at Seungmin who was quietly sobbing while looking away from him. Hyunjin frowned and turned Seungmins head gently to face him. "Minnie, why are you crying?"

Seungmin ended up hugging Hyunjin tightly as he cried in his chest. This shocked Hyunjin but he hugged the boy back, leaving a kiss on his head as he caressed his hair.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry that it all happened to you Hyunjin. I'm sorry for assuming that your life was perfect when it was far from that. You didn't deserve to go through that." - Seungmin cried even louder now

Hyunjin frowned, "Seungmin, you know it's not your fault right? You did nothing wrong, you didn't know and assumed what everyone around you was as well."

Seungmin lifted his head up to look at Hyunjin. Hyunjin smiled and pecked his lips. "I don't think I deserve you."

"Nonsense Seungmin, of course you do. In fact, you deserve someone even better than me."

"Shut up." Seungmin playfully hit Hyunjins chest. "No I don't."

Hyunjin laughed, "You deserve the world baby, even more than that. If I could give everything to you, just know that I would without any hesitation."

Seungmin smiled, "And I'd give you even more than that."

"Impossible."

"Oh, I'll show you just how possible it is." - said Seungmin as he attacked Hyunjin with cuddles

This made Hyunjin happier than ever, and made him realize why he loves this boy so much in the first place.

"Jeongin hurry up, we'll be late!"

"I'm coming Chris, wait up! I have to make sure I look good. It's our first date after all!"

Chris sneaked up on Jeongin and kissed his cheek saying: "You always look good, I don't know what you're talking about."

Jeongin sighed, "If you say so utmost Chris."

This made Chris laugh loudly, "Utmost Chris?"

"Well yes, you look like you were crafted by a Greek goddess or something."

"Jeongin, seriously stop. I feel like my stomach is going to explode from laughing so much!"

"What? It's the truth." - Jeongin huffed

"Okay big baby, let's head out." - said Chris picking up Jeongin and carrying him out of the apartment

"Hey put me down! I didn't finish my make-up!!"

"Too bad, we'll be late if you continue."

Chris put down Jeongin, as he started his motorbike putting on his helmet. "Hop on."

"You can't be serious right now."

"Oh I'm dead serious. Now get on, we'll get there faster this way."

Jeongin sighed, putting on the helmet Chris was handing him and hopped on the motorbike, wrapping his arms around Chris.

"Hold on tight, I'll be speeding off."

Jeongin gulped, he was nervous but also a blushing mess. "But, where are you taking me?"

"That's a surprise." - Chris smiled as he sped off
