⥗ • Chapter 20 | Worse than you could Imagine.. •

It has been an hour since Zandik's return, the two of you now sat beside each other as he explained what her Majesty told him to do. He seemingly didn't like the idea of it but he had no choice but to obey as he is one of the most reliable Harbingers..

" So you chose me for what reason exactly?.. " you asked as you looked down at the floor.

" I've already told you. " he said in slight annoyance " I was told to find myself a wife, but as I was busy with many things I told Prime to find me a wife and that's when you came into what I'd say, my life. I didn't invite you. " he said bluntly.

You continued to stay silent for a moment before taking a sigh and looking away " Do I have to.. "

" Absolutely. " he said " If the Tsaritsa gives out an order we have to accept it whetever we like it or not. I absolutely despise this idea as I hold no human emotions but as she said.. ' You might learn something from them. ' "

" What is there to learn? Ugh.. " you scoffed before crossing your arms " I suppose I can't refuse.. " 

" I'd make you my test subject if you refused. After all, your organs might hold a high value, mainly that heart of yours. I can imagine how the blood would spill and- " he said before you quickly stood up and shot him a glare with your watery eyes.

" Shut up Zandik! For heaven's sake just.. Shut up for once. I'm sick of this, I'm sick of everyone telling me what to do against my own will. I'm sick of YOU. " you shouted before he stood up and walked towards you before pushing you against the wall.

" You should learn how to keep your mouth shut yourself. " he said before taking your left hand in his and sliding on a ring on your ring finger " This will tell everyone that you are mine. Now to bring you some punishment for shouting at me.. " he said as he reached inside his pocket and took out a scalpel before his head turned towards you again.

" Z..Zandik what are you- " you stuttered out before he squeezed your cheeks to make you shut up before looking over your figure to find a good place to cause you harm.

" Let's see... " he said to himself before looking at your collarbone " This will work. " he said as he fixed his grip on the scalpel and moved it closer.

" Z..Zandik wait NO! " you shouted as you tried to struggle out of his grasp..

You now stood in front of the mirror in your private bathroom, looking at the plasters Zandik has put onto your collarbone where he had harmed you. You couldn't help but begin crying again as you began question everything..

You didn't know.. You didn't know why you fell so hard for him and why you weren't able to at least confess to him, but you knew that you had to go through this..

As you were lost in your thought for a moment you'd then sigh and walk over to your bed where you'd flop down onto it, face-first and hug the pillow before wrapping the blanket around yourself. You were enjoying the peace and silence before you heard a knock on the door and a familiar voice " Y/N can I come in? "

You only let out a small hum before sitting up and smiling slightly " You don't have to ask me 210. " you said with a smile plastered on your face.

As soon as the boy heard that he'd open the door and run towards you before climbing onto the bed and jumping into your arms for a hug, you only let out a small hiss as his head hit the cut you had along your collarbone, causing him to pull away and look at you " Are you alright?? " he asked curiously with slight concern behind his voice.

You gave him a small nod before ruffling his hair " Of course, I just fell down badly and I have a bruise now. Nothing to worry about Petit Corbeau. " you said with a smile.

" Petit Corbeau? That means Little Crow right?? " he asked with sparkles in his eyes. You only gave him a nod while petting his head before he chuckled " That's a lovely nickname you made for me Y/N!! " he yelped out before hugging you once more, but this time carefully not to hurt you and accidentaly bump into the ' ' Bruise ' '  you told him you had.

" So, what would you like to do today? We have all day as.. " you said with a pause, thinking about what you should tell him. You knew that you couldn't tell him about the fact that Zandik hurt you nor that he basically forced you into becoming his Fiancé, so it took you a while to figure out something before you spoke again " I got called off for the rest of the day. " you said with a smile before the boy chuckled and noddded his head in excitement.

" What about we play hide and seek around the Palace? Well.. mainly around the offices! " the boy suggested before you gave him a nod in agreement and put him down on the floor onto his feet before closing your eyes.

" Alright, I'll count first. Make sure to hide nicely~ " you said with a giggle before you began counting while the boy looked around for a place to hide..

So this Chapter is.. yeah. Just Yeah.. there's not really much to say about it other than the fact that the Original might be an absolute Jerk from the start since, in my opinion, he has no sense of human life nor emotion. So he basically enjoys seeing our pain and he basically lives for it.

But I promise you that It will get better with time, but perhaps expect a few arguments here and there as well as him kind of harming us and using us for his own pleasure from the start. Anyways, I might do a month time skip after Chapter 21 so prepare for that.
