⥗ • Chapter 21 | Confrontation •

It was around 9 AM when you woke up and you'd be stuck with Omega sitting in your room while reading a book and writing a few notes down inside it. It was bothering you as he was a jerk to you just like Zandik himself but you told yourself you'd bite through it, which you did..

" You haven't touched your meal nor drink yet. " he suddenly said.

You slightly jumped at his words before pulling the blanket over your thighs again and looking at him with a blank expression " I'm not hungry nor thirsty. " you said simply, not wanting to start a conversation with him.

He tilted his head upwards, telling you that he was looking at you " What are you hiding. " he asked with a small frown on his lips.

" Nothing.. " you said in a low tone which immediately told him that you were lying.

" Do not lie to me, it won't work. " he said before placing the book down on the coffee table and walking over to you to sit down on the edge of the bed and take hold of the blanket only for you to grab onto it tightly " Let go. " he said in a purely annoyed tone.

" I'm not hiding anything.. " you muttered, trying your best to not let him see the cuts Zandik gave you when you visited his office with Petit Corbeau yesterday. You were happy that he called him off before cutting into your skin again..

Omega looked at you with a bigger frown before grabbing your wrists and pulling them away along with the blanket to reveal your thighs. The moment his expression changed made you scared as you weren't sure what to say and you were afraid to tell him about this, but he eventually spoke up as he lifted his head towards your face " Did the Original do this to you? " he asked with that blank expression of his.

You looked at him in silence before your eyes began to water and you gave him a small nod while lowering your head " Yes.. " you muffled.

He looked at you in silence once more before kneeling onto the bed and pulling you into his arms to give you what seemed like a protective embrace before taking your left hand in his and lifting it up to have a good view on the ring on your ring finger " So he does not take you as a human being, how cruel of him. " he said simply before letting your hand go and getting up from the bed to stand beside it and look at you.

" Why are you.. " you asked in a low tone as you let out a small sob.

" I will confront him about this. You are a pure being that one does not simply wish to see in pain.. yet he seems to be enjoying it. " he said in a now pissed off tone before moving his gloved hands over to your face to wipe all the tears off " Get up Y/N. " he said as he moved away and watched you stand up. Once you were up from the bed he quickly took your hand and began speed-walking into Zandik's office..

It took you both a while to reach it but once you did so, Omega kicked the door open and pushed you aside while the both of you were inside Zandik's office. He himself sat at the desk and lifted his head up once Omega slapped his hands on the desk before pointing a finger at him..

" YOU. " he shouted " You harmed Y/N for WHAT reason exactly?! " Omega shouted even more as his face was turned towards Zandik.

" Omega.. " you murmured in fear before you felt Zandik's eyes stabbing through you.

" She was misbehaving. Such an act deserves a punishment, don't you think so.. Omega? " he said in a calm tone before Omega reached his hand over to Zandik's shirt collar and slightly lifted him up from his seat.

" But she does not deserve to be hurt by her Fiancé now does she?! I know SHIT about marriage but I know very well that once you go into it, forced or not, you should never lay your hands on them in such a manner- " said Omega before he saw Zandik reach his hand towards his mask and rip it off of his face, causing him to stumble backwards as it revealed his vision sensors.
