⥗ • Chapter 24 | The Doctor's sickness ~ Part 02 / 03 •

It was now the next day and you made your way into Zandik's room with a tray of food, tea and more medicine. But as soon as you entered the room you'd see Zandik sitting at the edge of his bed, putting his boots on..

You gave him a small frown and walked over to him before placing the tray on the nightstand and kneeling down to him " I told you to stay in bed when I left yesterday. " You said as you looked up at him only to see him holding his head in his palm.

" And I told you that I'm fine- " he said before a raspy cough made it's way onto the surface. Once he was done with his cough you'd give him a glare and begin taking his boots off as well as his pants to set them aside and watch him sit back onto the bed with a purely unamused expression on his lips.

" I said I'd take care of you during your sickness. So please work with me, I'll let you be once you're healthy.. alright? " You murmured as you sat beside him and took the cup of tea to blow on the surface and take a sip.

He looked forward for a moment before taking the cup into his hands as soon as you handed it over and opening his mouth to take the medicine before taking a sip of the tea as well " This medicine is disgusting.. " he muttered before you moved your hand over to his mask and slightly lowered it to put the back of your hand on his forehead.

" It is, but it helps.. " you muttered before removing your hand and getting up from the bed " Eat while I get the cold towel and don't try to get up.. " you said before walking into the bathroom and preparing a cold towel to put on his forehead.. happily once you returned he'd be half way in his meal and as you walked over to the bed to climb on top of it he'd look at you. You only gave him a small smile as you looked at him before giggling " You've got something.. " you muttered before reaching your hand over to his mouth and wiping off some of the food from it before giving him a smile.

" You're like a mother.. " he muttered before taking a forkful of his meal again  and looking away.

You kept your smile on as you looked out of the window while sitting beside him to make sure that he doesn't leave your side. Soon he'd finally finish his meal and place it on the nightstand before a small sneeze came from him. You looked at him with a slightly surprised look for a moment before a giggle came out of your lips " Adorable. "

He gave you a quick look before muttering a few curses under his breath and laying back down onto the bed. You'd look at him for a moment before moving his mask lower and placing a cold towel on his forehead and move to the edge of the bed only for him to take your arm and have his head tilted away from you " Please stay.. " he muttered.

You'd look at him for a moment before smiling and moving beside him again to sit there. He seemed to be quite tense for a moment before his body relaxed just like your own.. It was hard to take care of him as he seemed like he didn't know what he really wanted, but you didn't mind, you just knew that he wanted you on his side..

You were in the Office with Upsilon while coloring another coloring book's page with Petit Corbeau, 210, while he sat on top of your lap and Upsilon stood by your side while leaning over the desk to watch as both you and Petit Corbeau did so..

" So this is what children do these days? " Upsilon asked with a quite curious tone.

You gave him a nod as well as a hum " I did it while I was little as well, so yes. " you said with a smile before Upsilon reached his hand over to your head and ruffled your hair.

" You're a strange one Y/N. " he chuckled before heading over to his desk again. That was until he stopped in his tracks and looked towards the door that flew open to reveal Zandik standing there with a purely unpleasant frown on his lips " Someone's in trouble.. " Upsilon muttered under his breath before he got back to his desk.

" Y/N. " Zandik muttered before making his way over to the desk you sat at. Though his movement was strange and slightly shaky, so you quickly put Petit Corbeau down on the chair instead and quickly rushed over to him just so his head would fall onto your shoulder as he snaked his arms around you " Come back to bed.. "

" Oh! You guys are having a sleepover??? " yelped out Petit Corbeau as he looked at you and Zandik all excited.

" This is why I don't work with children.. " muttered Upsilon under his breath.

" No. " Zandik said quickly before grabbing your hand tightly and dragging you back to his bedroom while he's in the lead. Eventually the both of you would reach it and he'd immediately drag you to bed before laying down on his back and opening up his arms " Top.. " he muttered.

You'd look at him for a moment while standing near the bed " What are you- " you said before a shriek escaped your lips as he took your hands and pulled you on top of him while his face was nuzzled into your hair. You stayed frozen for a while on top of him before smiling softly and allowing your body to relax in his arms, it was strange to see such a reaction from him.. but for a brief moment you thought that he actually loved you just like you loved him..

Hey everyone!!

So this chapter was pure Fluff as I thought that it would be nice to have something so pure. But let's not forget that It's pretty much messed up in his head so we can't really know if what he does is genuine or not.

But other than that, the next Chapter we'll see him all healthy again as we will go through two days there and well.. That one won't be fluff as something..horrible will happen.. Stay tuned for the next chapter, let's just say that it won't be exactly pleasant to see.
