⥗ • Chapter 23 | The Doctor's sickness ~ Part 01 / 03 •

It was now the next day and you were in Zeta's office while Petit Corbeau, 210, sat on your lap as the two of you colored your third page of a coloring book you bought not a few days ago. The three of you were peacefully doing your own things before you heard a sneeze come out of Zandik's office, it made you all freeze for a moment but you shruged it off and continued to color the pages with Petit Corbeau, that lasted for not even an hour as you heard a raspy cough come after about 12 sneezes from his office..

" He sounds sick.. maybe I should check up on him. " you said as you lifted your head and looked towards Zeta whom sat at his desk.

" I'm not quite sure that's a good idea Y/N. " he said before looking at you " Each time he was sick he just worked the sickness away as he.. well.. didn't have time to waste. " Zeta quickly added with a slightly concerned tone.

" Zeta is right Y/N. He always worked it off and basically shouted at whoever entered his office.. " said Petit Corbeau as he looked up at you. You looked down at the boy on your lap for a moment before smiling and pinching his cheek slightly only to place a soft kiss on his forehead after a small " ouch " left his lips.

You gave him a smile and stood up only to place him on your seat instead and scoot him closer to the desk " I'm sure he won't shoo me away. It's not like he can anyways.. " you said with a giggle before ruffling the boys hair and walking towards Zandik's office.

Once you opened the door and walked inside Zandik immediately turned towards you to open his mouth and shout at you only to close his mouth and cover it in a while to let out yet another raspy cough " Y/N. " he said shortly before clearing his throat and turning around to what he was working on again " I don't have work for you, if you could leave the room then it would be appreciated as I'd rather- " he said before you squeezed your way between the desk and his arms while looking up at him. How'd he not hear you walk over to him nor feel your presence walk around him? Is his sickness catching up on his senses once more..

You'd get on your tip toes and reach your hand out to his mask only for him to drop everything he was doing and take hold of your wrist, you gave him a small smile and looked at him with that love-filled look of yours " I'll just move it slightly lower. I won't take it off fully.. " you murmured as you watched him. His eyes were intensely fixated on you and you once more felt those knives stabbing right through you, but you were used to it by now.. eventually he let go off of your wrist and slightly lowered himself to allow you to lower the mask as well as place the back of your hand on his forehead only to immediately move it away " Zandik you're burning! " you yelped out as you placed the back of your hand on his cheeks as well.

" I'll be fine- " he said in a low tone before you fixed his mask and took his hand only to start dragging him away into his room. Happily he didn't do anything as he seemed to stumble a few times as well while you dragged him there as fast as you could, you also met the Alpha build and asked him if he could bring a cup of tea as well as some medicine into his room which he agreed to as he gave Zandik a side eye.

Once you managed to drag him into his room you sat him on the bed and immediately told him to take his clothes off or at least his shirt which he obviously refused to do and tried to get up, to which you only replied by sitting on top of his stomach and unbuttoning it by yourself " I told you to take it off.. " you muttered as you unbuttoned the last one and revealed his chest with the harness he wore only to give him a look " Where's the end of it? " you asked.

" Somewhere you shouldn't lay your hands on. " he spat in what seemed like pure annoyance now.

" So your back. Now will you finally stop being a jerk and take it off yourself or will I have to do it agai- " you said before a yelp left your lips as he grabbed onto your thighs and flipped you around with what seemed like all of his strenght he had before leaning over you " Zandik. "

" Stop telling me what to do. " he scoffed before his arms began trembling slighly.

" Zandik? " you asked as you looked at him before he collapsed right onto you with his head burrowed in your shoulder. It would be a lie to say that you didn't panic as you also heard and felt how deep his breaths were, but you reached your hands for his back and began looking for the end of his harness to find it in no time and unclasp it before taking it off of him carefully and moving him off of you to let him lay on his back before you headed into the bathroom and took a small towel to wet it with cold water. Once you walked back into the bedroom you'd hear a knock on the door and murmured a " Come in " only to see Alpha in the door, carrying a tray of the tea you asked him to bring and medicine on the side.

" I brought everything.. " he said as he walked up to the bed and placed the tray on the nightstand before looking at Zandik " Is he gonna be okay? " he asked.

You looked at him for a moment before smiling " Of course. He's just sick, that's all there is to it Alpha. " you said as you ruffled his hair with your free hand before moving Zandik's mask lower and taking the cold wet towel into your hands and placing it on his forehead carefully only to receive a hiss from him.

" Take it off.. I said I'm fine.. " Zandik suddenly muffled before he tried to get up only for you to place your hand on his chest and push him down again with your hand behind his head to carefully lay it on the pillows.

" You have to rest and I'll be taking care of you.. " you muttered before you gave a small gesture to Alpha to leave the room. He looked at Zandik for a moment before you moved over and placed a kiss on his forehead " He'll be alright Alpha, I promise. " you said with a small smile before he gave you a nod as his cheeks turned slightly red and left the room.

" I'll just take one of my medicines and- " he said before you put your finger on his mouth to stop him from talking finally.

You gave him a small frown before leaning over him to grab the cup of tea and medicine as well as a teaspoon " You'll be taking normal medicine. Your own is like a drug, nothing against it though.. " you said as you took his hand and slightly pulled at it, gesturing for him to sit up.

" So annoying.. " he grumbled before sitting up quite fast only for his head to end up falling onto your breasts due to how badly it spun at that moment " It feels like someone's digging nails into my brain.. " he muttered as he kept on leaning against your breasts.

You gave him a small sigh before taking the teaspoon into your hands and pouring some of the medicine on it " Open your mouth Zandik. " you said as you looked down at him, happily he did as you asked and you managed to put the medicine into his mouth before taking the cup of tea and blowing onto the surface before taking a small sip yourself " It should be good, just don't drink too fast else you'll burn your tongue. "

" I won't drink after you. " he spat out once more only to receive a frown from you.

" Then I won't let you use my breasts as a pillow nor will I take care of you. " you threatened him before he slightly nuzzled the side of his face into your breasts more.

" Fine.. " he muttered before taking the cup into his hands while you kept your hands close to his to hold it or help him if needed.. Once he took a sip you smiled and took the cup before placing it on the nightstand along with the medicine and helped him lay down again before moving lower and trying to take his boots off " How do these... work? " you muttered to yourself before you reached for something and heard a click. After that you took them off quite easily and placed them beside the bed before laying on your side beside him while you held your head in your palm as you watched him. Even now you already knew this was going to be a long day..

Hello everyone! 

This chapter is, as you can see, mostly Fluff and Zandik being a jerk but also giving up due to his needs needing to be fulfilled as he seems quite weak ( in our opinion )

Next chapter we'll be spending the next day with him and we'll see LOTS of fluff there as he'll let his walls down due to how bad his sickness is.. Poor Bby :c
