'...baby, I really don't think a script is a good idea...we've talked about it before and she didn't seem to go for it the first time...I know, but Iev isn't a trained actor...At six? Okay, I'll try...No, I don't think we'll be done by then, but I'll try my best...Yeah, see you soon...Love you.'

'Hey bub.' I settle into a seat next to Kat, just overhearing the end of her phone call. 'Was that Ray?'

Kat turns her phone face down with an inahle. 'Hey guys...Yeah, that was Ray.'

'Is everything okay? You sounded a bit bothered there.' Melanie asks concerned.

'Oh...It'll be fine.' Kat tries, waving her phone with a weak smile. I think she might have been saying that for her own assurance. 'Let's take a look at these questions, eh?' She changes the subject and quickly pulls the SYFY press papers from her lap.

We all settle in the lounge chairs, set up in this hotel ballroom, where we are waiting for the press event to begin. SYFY wants to get these interviews in before hiatus, while the scenes we played are still fresh in our minds.

'There's definitely a lot of questions for Waverly and Nicole in here, ' Melanie notes perusing multiple pages.

Tim pops his head up from his copy, 'I'm sure they are going to ask when the wedding will occur.' He guesses with a smug smile, 'And where?'

'On the homestead, of course!' All of us respond with a scoff.

'I'm merely asking for the rest of us Earpers.' He raises his hands in defense. 'You know we've been waiting for invitations since the end of Season Two.'

'Can the audience look forward to a lesbian wedding?' I read one of the questions out loud, 'Right to the point then?' I turn to look at Kat, but she looks distracted, her mind elsewhere.

'Kat, love?' I reach over touching her arm, pulling her from her thoughts.

'Huh? Yeah, of course not!' She's always been more succinct at responding to the subject of representation, but we are now all head-turned at her response.

'Uh, you mean yeah,...of course, yeah.' Melanie corrects Kat's words.

'No. It's not going to be a lesbian wedding.' Kat disagrees matter-of-factly, 'Nicole isn't marrying herself. She's marrying Waverly Earp. And Waverly is bi.' We are all looking at Kat, our dropped jaws turning to slight grins. I might play the smarty-pants on screen, but between Kat and Dom, there's absolutely no doubt which of us aces her exams.

'Well, shit! I thought you meant you didn't want the wedding at all!'

'Leave it to Kat to make sure representation is done proper and right.' Tim adds.

Kat brings her hand over to mine, looking at me, 'If Nicole and Waverly are going to get married, they'll do it on their own terms.' She nods at her declaration.

'You tell 'em sweetie pie!' I grin proudly at my Haught sheriff.

After the first round of interviews, I notice Kat quickly stepped out to call Ray. She seemed like she couldn't wait to get through with the press event, and since we ended shooting, earlier this week, I noticed she's been rather distracted. I'm used to hearing about her packed schedule, when she comes back to Toronto, but my gut tells me, something isn't sitting right. I wouldn't be surprised, if Kat is worrying over her sister again. Something we are all used to since we started shooting in January.

Monday mornings are always full of energy on set. The entire crew is amped up on Emily's rallying speech and the cast is still joking about some high-jinx from Melanie's kick-off party. Everyone is so glad to be back on set, after such a long break. That, plus I'm feeling the residual energy coming from Melanie's over-caffeination.
