The encounter of a lifetime - Charles Lerclerc

Chapter 46

This is the last awakening in the chalet. Then I will find my classes and my revisions at home and that does not please me at all. Plus Charles is going on a trip soon with his friends so we won't be seeing each other for a while.

I go down to breakfast and everyone is there. We make one of the waffles with fruit etc. We make a meal of you. It's going to be weird not being with them every day. It will seem empty.

After this meal, we will all prepare our things, and we load the cars. We decide to mix people up a bit and not to do boys/girls again. So I find myself in the car with Pierre and Charles

Pierre: It was really cool these holidays. In addition I am happy to have been able to see your country a little. It's really beautiful even if France is more beautiful.
Emma: Stop abusing Switzerland, it's 100 times better.
Charles: You smoked it's better Monaco.

We continued this debate for about 10 minutes before Pierre changed the conversation to something more serious.

Pierre: Apart from that, how have you been since the confusion you've had?
Charles: I'm okay, don't worry.

We continue the road quietly and we finally go home.

In a few days Charles is going on vacation with his group of friends (guys) while I am going to dive deep into my exam revisions. But since I don't want to be alone, I decided to invite my sister and Chloé to come to the house. They will be able to enjoy a little during the day the two of them while I work and we can enjoy the three of us in the evening.

While waiting for that, with Charles we decide to enjoy our last romantic evenings by watching movies on Netflix and ordering food. We need to rest a bit before what awaits us.

Tonight we chose the movie "sex friend" it's a romantic comedy but it's very funny. To accompany this film, we obviously ordered sushi. After I've finished eating on the coffee table in the living room, I lie down with my whole body next to Charles. He puts his hand in my hair and tickles me, which makes me feel incredibly happy.

At the end of the film, Charles offers me to run a bath for us before sleeping, an idea that I love! So he leaves to prepare all this while I go get a bottle of champagne and some strawberries that we had left in the fridge. We still want this evening to be unforgettable because we know that when the formula one season resumes it will be much more complicated to have evenings like this.

I take my small meal tray and head for the bathroom. Charles prepared a bath with foam and even placed candles around the tub. This man is really too caring. I hand him the tray while I undress and we get into the water. We help ourselves to glasses of champagne before toasting.

Emma: To us.
Charles: To us. I love you.

We eat a few strawberries while having fun trying to give some to the other to eat them. Charles puts some on the edge of his lips that I have to come and catch, and so do I. After laughing like children, a more serious atmosphere sets in.

Charles: Would you like children? Because for me children are super important.
Emma: I didn't think we would talk about such a serious thing, but it's true that it's good to talk about this kind of thing in a couple. Yes I would like to have children. I would like 2 of them. And if I can't have any biologically, I want to adopt some. And how many do you want?
Charles: I would also like two or even three. But two already is good.
Emma: I would really like to have two little girls. Have little princesses.
Charles: I would like a boy and a girl. I would like to have a little princess, but also a little boy because it's so cute. But it doesn't matter if it's a boy or a girl, I'll teach them to drive karts.
Emma: I like this mentality that it doesn't matter if it's a boy or a girl. After the kart it is still dangerous.
Charles: Yes but look I've been doing it since I was little and I haven't had too many after-effects.
Emma: I know, but it's normal that it scares.
Charles: Yes.
Emma: And do you want to get married one day?
Charles: Yes one day I think. With my job it's complicated to organize a wedding because it takes a lot of time, so I know that I will never be able to organize my own wedding. At least not entirely. And you do you want to get married?
Emma: Yes it has always been one of my biggest dreams to get married.
Charles: Ah, you dream of a princess wedding, right?
Emma: Yeah really. With a big dress, lots of bridesmaids etc. I've been dreaming about it since I was like 5 years old.
Charles: So I look forward to the day when I can make your dream come true by getting married. My own princesse.

We continue to talk a little about the future for a good thirty minutes. These are important topics to discuss when you are in a relationship because they can create conflicts in the future. And I'm really reassured to see that we're on the same wavelength with Charles.

We then go out and get into bed. Before going to sleep, we hug each other and tell each other a bit about our program for the next few days. Charles explains to me that he is going to leave with his friends in two days and that he will be back in 15 days. They are going to go to an island to party. They plan to do a few visits anyway, but their program is mainly to party - party - party. For my part, Chloe and my sister will be arriving home in 3 days. They go to sleep in the guest rooms so that it leaves me the possibility of having my own schedule. I'm going to have to revise a lot a lot because I'm late. Life in formula one is incredible but it's complicated to follow my lessons. I have a life at 100 an hour now. Anyway, my exams are in a week and a half, so I really have to work. But what's good is that when Charles comes back I'll have finished my exams. I will therefore be more relaxed and available.
