Since the test session in Barcelona we have been very busy, whether on Charles' side or mine. He was always busy with formula one, TV shows, the press, training, meetings and so on. And I went back to school. Honestly, when I came to live with him in Monaco, I didn't think I would spend so much time alone there. Being with an elite athlete means lots of good things but also often being without him.
But this weekend is the first grand prix of the season! The Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne. It's very far, but I decided to go there because it's the first one and I missed the atmosphere too much. Especially since I always have the possibility of doing my classes online, so it doesn't disturb my schedule too much, although it is complicated because of the jet lag.

It's Tuesday and today we fly to Australia. I've never been there and I can't wait to see it. Plus Luisa will be there too so we can go shopping and sightseeing.
When to move in a country it is necessary to cross the ocean they do not take jets but normal long haul (well in business class anyway) to go there. So it's a very long flight ahead of us, but we're with a lot of other pilots and their girlfriends and on top of that we have TVs.
Charles falls asleep after an hour of flight. This guy really can sleep anywhere and anytime. So I keep busy talking with Luisa, Pierre and Alex.

The hotel is truly amazing as always. We've barely arrived when Charles leaves for some appointments, so I decide to shower, freshen up and call Luisa. We decide to meet in about an hour to have a drink in the city and to walk around a bit.
My shower does me so much good. I always feel dirty after a long flight. I decide to opt for a simple outfit, a beige outfit with a white top. I do a light makeup, I grab my bag and go.
The city is really beautiful. People are very nice and friendly. They seem really open-minded. We do a little shopping and we stop in a cafe to drink an Iced Coffee. We take the opportunity to take small photos for Instagram of course, like any good self-respecting "influencer".

While we drink our coffee I receive a message from Charles.
charles ❤️: do you want to go to eat with everyone at the restaurant tonight? dani wants us to try a restaurant and as i heard he has some news for us me: yes we are super excited with luisa!
So we decide to finish our coffee fairly quickly and go home to get ready for tonight.

The restaurant we go to is very classy, so we have to dress well. Charles put on a simple black suit, and for my part I opted for a white dress that stops above the knee with heels and a small handbag. We take a taxi and join the others at the restaurant. We arrive at the same time as Lando and Luisa.
On returning we notice that Daniel is already at the table with someone. I look at Luisa and our sight crossed before fixing our gaze again on this new face.
Daniel: Hi friends how are you? Lando: Hey man how are you? Daniel: Yes perfect. I wanted to introduce you to Heidi my girlfriend. Heidi: Enchanted. All: Hi. Daniel: Okay, come and sit down, don't be shy.
We settle down while waiting for the others to arrive. Once everyone has arrived, we order food.
The evening is going pretty well. Heidi is very nice. She explained to us that she is an actress and that her father was a Formula One pilot. She speaks German but also Portuguese, so obviously she and Luisa spoke a little to each other in that language.
It's time to go home because tomorrow there's practice so the guys have to be in good shape. With Luisa and Heidi we decide to meet to watch these tests together. I will definitely go to Mclaren to see them, even if I am an "enemy". The staffs know us now and know that neither Luisa nor I are in the strategy or what, we just want to see the tests between friends.
We take the taxi and we finally go back to the hotel.
Emma: How was today your day? Charles: Good and you? What have you done? Emma: We went shopping etc. It was really cool. Charles: That's cool. I'm glad you get along so well with Luisa. Emma: Yes. And Heidi is also super cool. Either way, she looks. Charles: Yes. Emma: And by the way baby, how are you feeling this weekend? Given that at the tests in Barcelona it was not really that. Charles: We've made a lot of changes to the car and I'm really confident. Emma: Okay well that's cool. I really hope it goes. Charles: Don't worry, your boyfriend is a real champion. Even with a trash can I win the race, he laughs.
I burst out laughing and he makes me fall on the bed to tickle me. He likes to annoy me so much like that. But I like it. These moments of complicity between the two of us. Especially on weekends like this where we don't get to see each other much because he's so busy. So you have to take advantage of every moment.
We're going to get ready to go to sleep and we lie down in each other's arms.
